We checked out a couple of the restaurants the host recommended, and were pleased with both. The space was just right for our family of four, and we appreciated the cozy fireplace to take the chill off of rainy fall days. ”The Cozy Tropical Retreat was just as advertised. It was located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to parking through a dedicated guest security gate. The bed was comfortable and the full kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. Raul was quick to respond to our questions and special requests. The AC worked great. I wish we would have had more time to spend in Hilo at the Guest House. The guest information book was a masterpiece!”
