  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. The host called me after I booked it to review some details which I really appreciated. East check in and the place was spotless. The location is amazing with the lakefront and so peaceful. We enjoyed the wildlife and paddle boarding. It’s not far from town and hit springs either. We’ll be back!

Pagosa Lake Vacation Get Away

This is a wonderful place to just chill out under the shade trees, enjoy the lake view from your patio, fish, walk, bike, or have your morning coffee in the cool mountain air. There are 1 or 2 bedrooms available with a nice kitchen and good sized bathroom & shower which also has the convenience of a washer & dryer for you. It's a few miles from downtown but has many restaurants and grocery stores close by. We also took a day trip to Ouray and Telluride. Ray, the owner, lives on the other side and is there to answer any questions or help with anything you may need. He is very hospitable host. We also enjoyed a ride in the Hot Air Balloon and hiked to Treasure Falls. You won't be disappointed in staying on this beautiful lake and this little apartment.

Lakeside beauty

Gorgeous lake front apartment with extensive lawn. The owner, Ray, was the best host!! He helped us put on two lakeside luncheons with 15 guests in attendance both times. He took guests out in his boat and offered lake toys such as paddle boards etc.

Pacosa Springs getaway

Pacosa Springs getaway. Our unit was right on Pagosa Lake with views of lake And the mini pal borders kayakers and boaters as well as the geese and ducks that were swimming by. Very relaxing.

We were looking for the perfect getaway and found it.

We had a wonderful timer at this cute little VRBO. The home was not only clean, but the owner thought of all the little details to make it a perfect getaway for us. We absolutely loved the view and proximity of the lake and even brought our kayaks. Ray, the owner, was a pleasant surprise. He was friendly, helpful and had many suggestions of places to go. We will be back!

Perfect accommodations for winter ski trip

First, Ray was an amazing host. He always answered his cell phone and even helped us out with restaurant recommendations. The property was spotless and very comfortable for me, my husband and our two 13 year old sons. We went skiing and it was absolutely amazing and perfect and had everything we could have wanted in a vacation stay. Thank you so much Ray for letting us stay at your property. I hope we are able to make it back in the near future.

Beautiful Pagosa Springs Getaway

Great place to stay in the winter if you're going skiing nearby, like our group of four did. Beautiful view of the pond from the windows and a porch that's great for hot drinks on cold winter nights. You could see the Milky Way in the sky from the pier. Mind your step on the stairs up to the property, and be sure to call Ray in advance on the day you check-in, especially in the winter; the cold weather can cause issues with the electronic lock.

Nice home on lake, quiet neighborhood

The home was clean and comfortable, with good linens and good assortment of pots/pans/baking pans, etc. The view of the lake from the living area and deck is wonderful. Great sunsets!

Living in a Tree House is what staying in this property was like - absolutely beautiful

1st time in Colorado

Beautiful, Peaceful place to stay. My only disappointment is some ridiculous HOA rules wouldn't allow us to swim in lake. However fishing is OK and we caught a few. Fantastic base to set out and explore the amazing scenes and attractions nearby. So glad I stayed here versus some stuffy hotel room.

The apartment on Lake Pagosa was perfect for a couple and Ray was an excellent host. We had plenty of room, all the amenities we needed and access to an outdoor kitchen. The entire neighborhood is lovely and close to anything you want to do. We will be back!

Great Getaway

The Martinez property was great! Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. It was cold when we were there so we weren't able to take advantage of the lake but I think it would be awesome in warmer weather. We would love to go back and stay in the summer. The check-in process was great and Ray was easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend this property.
