Wonderful time in this fairytale cottage! Sitting by the fire, watching it snow and the birds enjoying the snowfall! Vanessa and Rob are very accepting and helpful! It was a great time!

I dreamed of a cabin in the woods and this fit perfectly!! The cottage is just the right distance from town. It is close enough to go visit and find what I need! I stayed over a month and Vanessa and Rob were very accommodating hosts! If I needed anything they had it ready for me. When I arrived there was a fire going in the gas fireplace. The place was clean and ready for new guests. I loved having a washer and dryer in unit. I felt safe and comfortable! In fact, I am returning in a couple of weeks and staying here. I was here to see leaves turning and hopefully there will be snow when I come again.

Very charming property. Extremely clean. Well stocked kitchen for cooking for two. Great directions. Secluded and quiet location but with easy access to town and hiking options. Laundry was great. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

I loved that the bedroom and living area had separate heating sources, we like a cool bedroom. Attention to detail was top notch with fluffy towels to coffee pods, cider & filtered water. We requested sheets and towels to be washed in non-fragrance detergent, which was not an issue. Very private and cozy cottage. If ever back in Palmer I’d stay again.

This was the very best place we have ever stayed. This is a well built cabin with extra nice interior. It was close to attractions, but gave us a quiet place to come back to at the end of the day. Plenty of room for 2 people so that you’re not underfoot all day. I don’t rate many things, but this cabin really impressed us.

Quiet clean cabin with everything you need!

We loved our stay in cabin 2! Cabin was neat and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need in it. We enjoyed the privacy in the trees yet it was close to everything you could need. We would absolutely stay here again. Geoff and Kirsten

5 star ratings are well deserved

This cabin in the woods was absolutely perfect. No surprises- no wondering how the pictures could have made it look so much bigger. Absolute peace and quiet, unplugged feeling sitting out on the porch but only 10 minutes into town if we needed anything. The cabin was immaculate and welcoming. The heating stove was terrific with separate temp controls for the bedroom. Rob and Vanessa were fantastic hosts, not only giving us a heads-up about a neighbor doing some earthwork ( that we never even heard) but having a few snacks waiting for us as they knew we would not have a chance to stop by Fred Meyer on the way in from the airport. They even offered a few “must see” suggestions. Believe the ratings - this has been one of the best stays we have ever booked on Vrbo.

Beautiful Cottage Retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It exceeded our expectations and we decided it was just perfect. Rob and Vanessa were responsive and helpful throughout the renting process and our time there. Our cottage was clean, looked brand new and was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pans, linens, soaps, detergents and shampoos. Our bed was comfortable and the laundry facilities were excellent and appreciated as we were there toward the end of our trip. The location of this property was just amazing - in the woods, easily accessible, quiet and beautiful. We so enjoyed our stay. Thank you Rob and Vanessa for a memorable time at your cottage.

Cozy, Quiet and Beautiful

My family visited from out of state and I had them stay here, it was close to our home. It is such a beautifully built tiny home in a gorgeous forested area of Palmer’s farm country. They loved it and want to stay here when they visit from now on. The host was very easy to communicate with. I had requested a drip coffee maker and it was at the cabin when my family arrived. Great host, great place to stay! Highly recommend!

Exactly what I wanted in an AK stay

Fantastic cabin! Super cute. Clean. Located back in the trees to really feel special. Stayed with my husband. Cabin is equipped with what you'll need for a normal stay. Close to town but far enough we felt separated. Host is friendly & kept communication open. We wish plans allowed us to have stayed longer!
