”This lodge is an older, two-story facility. The rooms was clean with a refrig and microwave. There is no elevator and we were on the second floor. The breakfast staff was not attentive to restocking items. The food selection was limited and the eating area small for the size of the hotel. Not a bad stop-over when traveling north from Yellowstone, but don’t expect a lot. ”

”Beautiful historic hotel in a quaint mountain town. Room was spacious with a separate living area. Bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spotless and thoughtfully decorated. The 100+ year old elevator had to be operated by staff adding to the historic charm.”

”Beautiful location with trails, and adventure abound. We loved the tents, the food, the service was great. We had many food options, and great drinks. In the evening they light the firepits and we made smores. Breakfast was great, and the service was attentive. They even had hiking poles for us to use as well as blankets for around the fires at night. We can't wait to go back and stay again!”

”We’ve stayed here many times to the point where I’ve lost track. It rained for most of the time but we soaked at Chico and also had a wonderful meal at their dining room. We watched movies and read a lot. We also prepared our own meals using the fully stocked kitchen. A new addition was the the wifi, which I was grateful for as I was able to monitor my home and greenhouse remotely. Had it been nicer weather, we would have hiked up to Emigrant Creek Falls. We’ve also taken our bikes several times...

”It's a nice property, very reactive hosts. Vicky was kind enough to lend me a cast iron pan for my cooking- managed a 6 course tasting menu for 2 with the few things I had! She also got me a knife sharpener to use! I could slice tomatoes again! I would suggest getting a couple cheap plastic or wood cutting boards, because those glass boards are awful on knives. My only complaint is that when I set my filters for searching for the kind of properties we like, I had "hot tub" as something we wew...
