”One-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”

”We enjoyed our stay very much! The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Thank you very much your warm hospitality! Italian style breakfast was a nice bonus. Our apartment had very good air-conditioning, was spacious and stylish with cooking-facilities. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.”

”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. Of course beautiful hilltop towns are a dime a...

”Great location right next to the Duomo and close to the tourist attractions as well as the main shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. ”

”Very clean and convenient, nice that it was past the main part of town opposite side of city from vernacular which made it quiet but close. ( there is a nearby shuttle, or a 15 minute walk with bags…). The hotel gives you a feel that you are staying in a room of a castle. ”

”Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly. The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). ”

”This is huge monastery with the fabulous furnishings intact. The place is spotless. It has a gorgeous catheral. The city is medium walk up a fairly steep road. You can also use your car and drive to the top of the hill and walk in to the city center”

”Orvieto on kaunis erilainen matkakohde. Hotelli oli keskeisellä paikalla joten kaikkialle pääsi hyvin kävellen. Kylässä oli useita hyviä ravintoloita joista sai loistavaa paikallista ruokaa . Hotellimme oli siisti ja henkilökunta ystävällistä tosin Italian kielen taito oli tarpeen. ”

”Logement très atypique spacieux et confortable. La fraîcheur induite des vieux murs en pierre a été un vrai plus vu la température extérieure. Top le tri des poubelles dans la cuisine. Peu de lumière naturelle vu la taille des fenêtre de l’époque mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Giana est très accueillante et au petit soin pour le petit déjeuner au top !”
