”The location is stunning – absolutely worth the view. The road to get here, however, is in very poor condition. The pool area is beautiful, and the gym exceeded expectations with amazing views and a much higher standard than the photos suggested. Wi-Fi in the room worked poorly, and the pool bar’s lunch/after 2 pm food offering was frankly a joke – where’s the pride in Italian cuisine when you serve nothing remotely close to the real thing? ”Beds were comfortable. The family stayed in the roomy Bastioni apartment. Breakfast was very good and the staff were patient when we arrived just before serving was supposed to end. The hotel - an old castle —and pool area were lovely. Very friendly staff. ”
