## Emplacement
The 18th arrondissement lies to the north of Paris and includes the districts of La Goutte d'Or and Montmartre. The latter is one of the highest buttes in Paris, and the view from the top is well worth the trip. L'église du Sacré-Cœur, Bastion of the Commune in the XIXᵉ century, Montmartre then became the district of many artists such as Picasso, Dali, Duchamp, Toulouse-Lautrec and many others. The 18th arrondissement is therefore highly contrasted, integrating ethnic islets with a bourgeois sector or the opposite. Boulevard de Clichy, near Place Pigalle, has many pleasant cafés and bars, giving the district a certain dynamism and respectability.
