GRAND VILLA OPERA BASTILLE, PARISSYDEN

Harvinainen täysin kalustettu kaupunkitalo “Hotel Particulier” aitassa pariisilaisessa rakennuksessa, jossa on 4 tasoa. Huoneisto on hiljattain remontoitu. Upealla paikalla lähellä kuuluisaa ja vilkasta Place de la Bastillea, upeine ravintoloineen, baareineen, oopperoineen, St Martin -kanavana, kauppoineen, markkinoineen, supermarketineen, metroasemilla ... kävelymatkan päässä Seine-joesta ja trendikkäästä “Le Marais ”ja Place des Vosges. Sijaitsee vain muutaman metrin päässä “Port de l´Arsenalista”, jossa voit satama yksityisveneelläsi tai käydä veneellä Pariisin kanavien ylittämiseen. Upea ilmapiiri, erittäin hiljainen sisällä.

Pohjakerroksen viihdyttävä alue: avoin tila / olohuone, jolla on valtava katedraalin kattoikkunan katto. Iso olohuone, iso kaapeli-TV, 2 sohvaa suurille ryhmille tai perheille. Ruokasali, johon kuuluu iso varustettu keittiö (astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, jääkaappi, pakastin, uuni), avoinna pienelle ulkoterassille. Ruokapöytä mahtuu 16 henkilöä.

Pohjakerroksen pieni oleskelutila: Yhdistettynä avoimeen tilaan pieni huone lasikaton alla ja vuodesohva (90X190). Tämä oleskelutila / lepohuone yhdistetään olohuoneeseen ja muuhun taloon. Huone voidaan sulkea yksityisyyden vuoksi, mutta se ei ole itsenäinen huone, koska ihmisten on ylitettävä oleskelutila päästäkseen talon eri osiin.

Pohjakerroksen makuuhuone 1: Yhdistetty eteiseen, itsenäinen makuuhuone, jossa iso sänky (180X200). Iso ikkuna osoittaa oleskelutilaan. Käytävällä Makuuhuone 1: n edessä on erillinen kylpyhuone, jossa suihku, pesuallas ja wc, jota voidaan käyttää kaikille pohjakerroksen vieraille.

Makuuhuone 2, maanalainen: Yhdistetty leikkipaikkahuoneeseen, jossa portaat menevät alas, iso itsenäinen makuuhuone, jossa king-size-vuode (180X200) ja pieni sänky (90X190). Makuuhuoneessa on kaksi pientä ikkunaa kadulle päin. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on erillinen wc ja erillinen suihku ja pesuallas pienellä ikkunalla kadulle päin.

Makuuhuone 3, 1. kerros: Yhdistetty avoimeen tilaan, jossa on ruokasali, portaikko johtaa talon ensimmäiseen ja toiseen kerrokseen. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa itsenäinen makuuhuone, jossa Kalifornian iso sänky (200X200). Kaksi ikkunaa rakennuksen pihalle päin. Lasiovi johtaa itsenäiseen ulkoterassille. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on erillinen kylpyhuone, jossa wc, pesuallas ja suihku.

Makuuhuone 4, toinen kerros: Yhdistetty avoimeen tilaan, jossa on ruokasali, portaikko johtaa talon ensimmäiseen ja toiseen kerrokseen. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on keskikokoinen sänky (140X200) ja pieni sänky (90X200). Katossa on 4 ikkunaa, jotka voidaan sulkea. Toinen iso ikkuna, josta näkymät Pariisin katoille. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on erillinen kylpyhuone, jossa wc, pesuallas ja suihku.

Makuuhuone 5, pohjakerros: Yhdistettynä avoimeen tilaan, jossa on olohuone, portaat johtavat alakertaan itsenäiseen makuuhuoneeseen, jossa on king-size-vuode (180X200). Tässä makuuhuoneessa on iso kylpyamme ja erillinen wc ja pesuallas. Makuuhuoneessa on kaksinkertainen lasiovi, joka johtaa yksityiseen ulkoterassille.
Leikkipaikkahuone / tai makuuhuone 6: Yhdistetty käytävän kautta iso leikkipaikkahuone, jossa on jalkapallopöytä, iso kaapeli-TV ja baari, jossa pieni jääkaappi. Kaksi suurta suojattua ikkunaa kohti kadua. Alkoven suuri sänky (160X200) voidaan yksityistää verhoilla. Ylimääräinen vuodesohva.
Pesula, pohjakerros Portaita kohti pesukoneelle ja kuivaajalle avoimessa ovessa.

Let me start by saying this space is in a great location for getting to public metro and plenty large enough. Our challenges were that it was a summer trip and the common areas are the only ones with air conditioning. The room we chose was hot and the shower kept losing water pressure. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, but not in the summer.

Excellent and large family lication

This place was an extremely unique and an eclectic apartment. Great for a large extended family with a good central gathering area but plenty of satellite locations to go chill if you need time away. I gave high marks across the board. It is a little aged and could’ve been a little bit cleaner, but the owner was very clear about just asking him if you wanted an additional complementary cleaning so I really can’t mark it down because it wasn’t that bad. But the location is excellent. The neighborhood is reasonably quiet, but still proximal to everything you need and the property is just so unique and interesting. It was a former stable for the Bastille. The living room is where the carriages were kept. If you go with a Paris mindset, you’ll love the place. We highly recommend it

Adequate Housing

The property is a very unique layout. We are a multigenerational group with kids of 1yr and 3 yr old as well as 5 separate couples. There was ample space for all to have their own rooms (the kids shared a room). A few notes to share for improvement of the experience in the future: 1. Keys: There are 2 keys to the house. There is no way to enter OR leave the house without one of the keys. As a result of having 5 different couples, there were multiple instances of people being locked in or out of the house. 2. Beds: The beds were appropriately big but were provided with sheets that were not the correct size leading to trouble with sheets (queen size sheets on king size beds). 3. Bugs: There were bugs present throughout the apartment (especially bathrooms). Ants / mites were prevalent in many areas. 4. Trash: There were unclear instructions about what to do with waste. As a result, the trash sat in an alcove and we didnt know what to do with it. 5. Disposable goods: The space came with 1 roll of paper towels. For a family of 12 it was insufficient for the length of time that we were there (6 nights) and additional purchases were required at the grocery store. 6. The drip coffee maker did not work (my parents were looking forward to local coffees before their days)Despite these items, we had a great stay at the VRBO. There are incredibly few spaces that would accommodate a group our size in Paris and this worked perfectly!

Excellent stay near center of Paris

This is a great place in a fantastic location. The Bastille metro station is a very easy 500 meter (1/3 mile) walk and has 3 metro lines (1, 5, and 8), making it very easy to go anywhere in Paris. Even closer than the metro is a supermarket, a bakery, and a wide selection of restaurants. Despite the proximity, this is on a quiet street. There is one bedroom on the main floor, and 3 more one flight of stairs away. The 5th bedroom requires 2 flights of stairs and the 2nd flight is a spiral staircase so guests need good mobility to get to it. Each bedroom has a bathroom, and 4 of the 5 have showers (one has a bathtub). We were a party of 8 and had plenty of room. Though the apartment sleeps 16, it would be crowded with that large of a group. We liked that the kitchen table seats 16 so we could sit together to share meals. The host is friendly, helpful, and very responsive. The only negative for us was that the livingroom furniture is primarily 2 twin beds, which would be good if you need the sleeping space but was not great as livingroom seating. Overall this is a great place in a fantastic location and we had a wonderful stay.

A perfect apartment for our large family

Eduard was prompt and offered his assistance if we needed it, even though we didn't need it during our trip. The place was large enough that it didn't feel like everyone was crawling on top of each other. There was more than enough seating, and even the dining table could accommodate everyone. It was also well stocked with enough plates, cups, etc.This place was perfect for our large multigenerational family of 11 traveling to Paris. There were more beds than we actually needed, and so many bathrooms!! A huge plus!! The top floor bedroom does have a small circular stairway which made it difficult to bring any luggage up, but there was more than enough room to leave your luggage on the main floor and just take up the essentials. It was clean and easy to access. It was in a good neighborhood with lots of restaurants and a large market nearby. There's a great bakery down the street! Our family visited it multiple times on this trip.I highly recommend this place for anyone needing a place for a large family in Paris (which is hard to find). This was a gem for us.

Perfect space for family trip to Paris

The property was perfect. Our crew ranged in age from 7 to 85, and the space was everything we needed. Everyone felt safe and at home. The owner was communicative and accommodating. We will cherish our time as a family in Paris and this beautiful home will be a part of our fond memories.

Fabulous time in Paris

We had a great stay in Paris. This house accommodated all seven of us with plenty of room to spare. We were able to walk to lots of great cafes and the Seine. Our host was very responsive to all of our questions. We were super sad to leave!!!!

Great place for big group!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. We had a big group with 8 adults and 6 teens and children. There was plenty of space for our group. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, and everything we needed to cook when we wanted to. Each bedroom has a toilet and shower/bath. We had one issue with a shower not draining properly and it was quickly addressed by the owner. There were hairdryers in each bathroom which was greatly appreciated by the women in our group. The air conditioning works well, and we had some hot days where it was very nice coming back to a cool house. The neighborhood was great. There is an excellent Supermarket just down the street that we used a lot. There are lots of wonderful restaurants and bars in the area. We used a couple excellent bakeries as well. We were in Paris for the Paralympics and had no problem walking to Bercy Arena to watch my wife compete. The Opera House is very close by. The Bastille metro station and Gare de Lyon metro station are easy walks and connect you to anywhere in Paris easily. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience Paris!

The home was in a great location for my family, it was out of the fray but were a block away from restauraunts and grocery and a three minute walk to the bastille. It was a little tight for 10 people but the price was great and it was a good value.

50 year anniversary

The house is very functional. It has enough bathrooms to serve our large family and the kitchen/dining area is spacious. Our bedroom in the basement had ugly sheets and lousy mushy pillows . The bed was comfortable. Great location. It is not a charming French apartment, but those tend to have 1 or 2 bathrooms. Trade off.

Great stay in Paris

Property was perfect for our party off (6 adults, 5 kids). More than enough room and bathroom space for everyone. Was a little bit out of the way for the things we were doing, but close to the metro. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Communication with manager was great before and during trip, as he was prompt in response and very helpful.

As a family of 10, the location, space and supples were adequate. We walked to restaurants, metro and many sites. We really enjoyed our visit. The only issue was the internet connection. It only worked in the living room and playroom.

Great place!

This apartment was perfect for our friends trip in Paris! Great location - easy to get to everything and quiet neighborhood for the light sleepers in our group. Host was very easy to communicate with before and during the trip. Highly recommend this apartment and look forward to renting it again on our next trip.

Amazing Place

We were a group of 10 with a mix of adults, teens and kids. The space allowed for everyone to spread out when they needed alone time and come together for hanging out & eating. We cooked meals easily in the well-equipped kitchen. The location was unbeatable - we used the metro & walked. Communication was easy. We would 100% stay again and have recommended it to everyone we know vising Paris with a group!

Fun house

There were 12 of us! It was great to be all together in one spot! The bedrooms/bathrooms were great. The ‘crows nest’ up 2 flights of stairs is tough to get up to with luggage but the rest were wonderful! Put the young kids upstairs! They’ll love it!!

A spacious Oasis in the Heart of Paris

We chose Quinze-Vingts as our base for our long awaited "Noel a Paris" because frankly it was the only place we could find in inner Paris that could accommodate the 16 people (8 adults , 8 kids - 4 nuclear families) in our party. While the property has some idiosyncrasies (and hey - isn't that part of the joy of travel), it did the job admirably. Each of the adult couples had private sleeping accommodation with varying types of ensuites. This allowed kids to use their parents bathrooms plus another one in a less private area. The kitchen and dining area was perfectly adequate to prepare and seat 16 of us at breakfast and evening meals, which kept everyone's food bill very low. The Manager of the property was responsive to a few very minor issues after we arrived and the heating was more than adequate . I do recommend it for big groups - definitely. its wonderfully placed for wandering through the Marais with loads of the usual Cafes and Brasseries near by - we enjoyed a pre-booked Christmas Dinner at Bofinger - a 100 year old brasserie just a 10 min walk from QV. In terms of preplanning your stay, I think probably 16 is the max you can squeeze in, and some need to be kids who enjoy more "communal" sleeping. The other thing would be helpful is a diagram of the floor plans. All in all, we thought QV was fabulous as was our 8 days enjoying the Christmas of our lives. Merci beaucoup to the QV Manager Ed and the housekeeping staff.
