A wonderful base from which to explore Paris! You can fool yourself into thinking you live there!!!With a pastry shop at either end of the block, fresh produce shops to choose from and cafes galore, everything you need is steps away. The flat is also within walking distance of 3 Metro lines.The flat contains everything you need and the hosts were friendly and responsive.Note that the single bedroom is in place of a sitting room so the kitchen table is the only place to sit and when staying in the Master you have to walk through the Single to access the rest of the place.

Delightful home in the heart of the 9eme arrondissement, on the most charming street lined with bakeries, confection shops, cheese and charcuterie shops. Easy walk to the Opera, Gallerie Lafayette, local restaurants, and metro stations. Apartment was clean, well-furnished, and quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Isabelle and Veronique are attentive hosts; Veronique met us in person at check-in and provided a walk-through, explained how the keys and doors worked. Prompt and courteous communication throughout. Overall excellent stay. We would love to come back. Merci!

We had the best time! The apartment is so convenient to lots of great shops, restaurants, and cafes. A variety of Metro, bus, and RER stops are within walking distance. Isabel is an incredible host who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Excellent flat in the 9th

Very comfortable place to stay, soft bed, loved the shower. The building faces a very lively and busy street but the unit itself faces a quiet inner courtyard which is conducive to a great nights sleep. Highly recommended.

Magical Location in Paris

Rue des Martyrs is one of the best streets to be on. Everything at your finger tips. We throughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully Isabel will take us in again! I’ve been to Paris 11 times and absolutely believe this is the street to live on! Isabel and her daughter Sophie were attentive to our needs as 60 aged women. Love, love, love. Thank you Isabel. A charming Paris apartment - a wonderful host

We spent 25 days in this charming apartment. It was a great location for exploring Paris. The street is lined with small shops, cafes, bakeries, many different food markets, fresh fruits & vegetable stalls, and even a grocery store just a short block away. The street was filled with people and yet it is was quiet at night for sleeping. We would shop for dinner every day on our way back from our daily excursions. There are metro and bus stops just minutes away and you can get almost anywhere you want to go. There is a clothes washer and a drying rack in the apartment, but you can also do what we did. We washed our clothes in the apartment and dried them in a very nice laundromat just around the corner. It is a small apartment but I think that is normal for Paris. It worked out fine for us. The rooms all in a line. That means if you are sleeping in the back bedroom, you have to walk through the second bedroom to reach the bathroom or eat-in kitchen. We were all family, so it was not an issue for us. The large windows open above an inner courtyard and provide lots of light and fresh air if wanted. The listing says the apartment is on the first floor. In Paris that does not mean it is on the ground floor. There is a short set of circular stairs to the apartment. Our host, Isabel is a lovely person who was wonderful. While she doesn't speak English, she is a master of Google translate. She and her husband made sure that we had everything that we needed.

Great place and location

It was perfect for our stay and Isobel explained everything. Well stocked and plenty of information about Paris. Even had umbrellas which is very helpful in Paris. It is a great area for food and specialty stores. Supermarket across the road. Close to Montmartre and Galleries Lafayette areas as well as Metro and station.

Perfect Paris apartment

This apartment was in an absolutely wonderful neighborhood with cafes, bakeries, cheese shops, wine shops and boutiques right at your doorstep. It was comfortable, well equipped with coffee, and Isabelle was a wonderful host. This apartment is gem!

Our hostess was very welcoming and the apartment had all we needed for our week stay in Paris, nice water pressures for showers, comfortable beds!! Amazing stay in SoPi

We recently spent 5 nights in Paris hosted by Isabel in South Pigalle. This apartment is perfectly located. You could not get a more authentic Paris experience than staying on Rue de Martyrs. The street was packed with Parisians shopping for freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, cheese, meats or socialising in the many brasseries and bistros. We could have spent all day here experiencing a real Paris. But when you have to leave to visit the many other Paris sites, then there is a metro station just down the road. The apartment was perfectly adequate for the three of us. We cannot complete this review without mentioning how amazing Isabel is. Our daughter arrived in Paris felling very unwell after a 28 hour flight from NZ. Isabel took us under her wing and took us to the pharmacy and arranged to see a doctor. We ended up having to get our daughter checked out at a children’s hospital - with an all clear we continued our sight seeing a few days later. All the time Isabel checked on the welfare of our daughter. We cannot speak highly enough of Isabel as a kind person and caring host. We highly recommend this apartment.

Isabelle was the nicest host! The apartment was perfect. Easy access to public transportation, loads of bakeries, shopping and restaurants, it had everything you need. Isabelle is what makes this place even more special. She left us a little gift for a birthday and received a package we had delivered. I definitely recommend!

Amazing apartment and wonderful host

I planned a girls trip with a friend and we booked this apartment. Isabel was just fantastic to work with. Very flexible and nice. The place was very clean and the beds were nice and comfy. Very good restaurants nearby. Close to the metro and bus stops. We also loved the espresso machine she provided. And ability to do laundry! Thank you Isabel!

Perfect 3-day getaway.

What a fantastic gem right in the heart of Paris. We had the perfect Parisian experience and Isabel was an amazing host. Much better stay than a hotel, this apartment is nice and cosy and extremely well-equipped. As a host Isabel went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
