”We absolutely loved our stay at Bigfoot Lodging Cottage #2 It’s a very authentic cabin in the woods experience. The original vintage wood interior and squeaky wood floors added a lot to the ambiance. Plenty of outdoor space for grilling steaks or making campfire s’mores. The grounds are fun and funky with lots of interesting things to see including a pond and creek. The family that runs it is warm and accommodating with a small store that sells drinks and snacks. ”We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around.
