The food was delicious, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The swimming pool and spa was a bonus. I wish we had booked for more nights. We will definitely be coming back for sure!”

”We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. We had steak and Seabass and both meals were cooked to a perfection. All the courses were delicious from starter to dessert. The bed, bedding, linens, and soaps were luxury without loosing the characters of the house..and clean. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. ”This property, a freehouse since the 18th century, is exactly what I expected. Close to all Bath city sights, rooms are efficient and have everything you need. The property has had recent painting to lighten and brighten the spaces and they are inviting in a relaxed manner you would expect of a freehouse, that is the charm of the place. There is a bit of street noise but nothing not expected from city living. I throughly enjoyed my stay.”

”My wife and I had a four day break in Bath and our stay at the Bailbrook was a delight. The room was spacious and well appointed with a large comfortable bed, although of the many pillows, it would have been beneficial if at least two could’ve been firm! There was even a television over the bath. The food we had was generally excellent save for the fried eggs at breakfast, that were overdone, under the lights. Free WiFi and spacious parking was a bonus.”
