”Excellent hotel, my only complaint would be the Peninsula food service.
We ate at the Shanghai Terrace our first night on site and honestly the food was only 2 stars. Specifically the appetizers were minuscule, and 90% pastry dough. Whatever filling was supposed to be inside all the dough largely wasn’t. The whole Peking duck was arranged haphazardly on the plate, the skin was not really crispy, and the taste experience was completely lackluster.

”Pyysin esteeettömän huoneen. Sain huonen jossa oli turvallisuusriskejä. Se onneksi vaihdetiin turvallisempaan. Silti sänky oliliian korkealiikuntavammaiselle. Siivouksesta perittiin eri maksu, Maksuperusteita ei annettu etukäteen, joskin kerrottiin lisämaksuista ja varausmaksusta. Hotellissa oli jonkinlainen kioski-kahvila, ei ravintolaa. Avoinna vain aamulla ja illalla. Vastasi korkeintaan 3 tähden hotellia”

You cannot beat this location. Tucked into a gorgeous neighborhood & easy walk to Wrigley field.
Staff feels like a friend. Seriously.
Always felt very safe.

It feels like a well worn home. Not dirty but not quite clean? Not modern at all if you’re into that. No breakfast. No coffee pot in the room.
We will definitely stay again based on staff & location”

”Our room over looked Lake Michigan. It was gorgeous. The staff was pleasant and responsive to questions. You could tell it was an older building because even on the 7th floor you could hear the street, but that really did not bother us. We would stay again.”
”It was close to Wrigley Field and everything we came to do we could walk to! We were also lucky enough to get early check in and enjoy extra time in the city.”

”This was a very clean and beautiful place to live. The ease of access and keyless entry made it easy to entry exit. There was a security guard at the entrance, safety was great. Location was close to dinning places and walkable to major places in chicago city.”
