”Rooms very ordinary in ugly building, food good, nowhere to sit comfortably by a fire after dinner. No drawing room, only the bar or a sofa in a hallway. There was a fireplace but no fire. Disappointing communal spaces. The staff friendly and the food was good.”

Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.”

”I travelled to Homfirth with my friend as we were attending a gig at the Picturedome which is next door to the Inn. The Inn has recently been renovated to a high standard. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The inn is a beautiful place and the decor is beautiful. We had breakfast, full english which was very good. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff went the extra mile for us. ”

”Rooms are motel style and are dated (don’t be fooled by the online photos) but room was clean, breakfast was good and staff were all fantastic and very accommodating with late check out, late breakfast (made to order so we could eat after Hillsborough Parkrun) and parking for the Wednesday match. Perfect location for Hillsborough Parkrun and Hillsborough stadium, will definitely be back! Thank you! ”
