”The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.”

”Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet.”

Staff really helpful throughout. Last minute decision to eat in the bar area (restaurant fully booked) provided us with nice meals, which was against some of the reviews we had read, so I am assuming improvements have been made. ”Rooms are motel style and are dated (don’t be fooled by the online photos) but room was clean, breakfast was good and staff were all fantastic and very accommodating with late check out, late breakfast (made to order so we could eat after Hillsborough Parkrun) and parking for the Wednesday match. Perfect location for Hillsborough Parkrun and Hillsborough stadium, will definitely be back! Thank you! ”
