”Wortley Hall is not worthy of being described a hotel (what does the "Q"stand for to be worthy of its listing on the Q Hotel's sight? It was more like a TUC/Miner's Welfare holiday property, being festooned with left-wing items- including forms to join ! Although warm enough there was no sense of warmth and comfort. There was no bottled water in the room nor fridge. Breakfast was served in a stark room but the food was OK except the there was alimoited fruit offeing not a fruit salad.”

”Very polite staff, good breakfast included in price, clean, good location and free parking. Only negative thing was bed matress that was leaning to middle heavily and resulted in very sure back after one week stay.”

”This hotel seems to focus more on conference guests than on the overall hotel experience. Bright lights were on day and night, and a cosy atmosphere was completely missing. The staff appeared to serve you in between conference duties rather than providing dedicated service. The outdoor terrace had potential, but it wasn’t used. With a few small touches, this hotel could be a very cosy and pleasant place to stay. As it is now, it felt cold, and simply somewhere to sleep rather than a place where...

”Great location,parking helpful staff”

”Incredibly friendly and helpful staff at front desk! Thank you”

”Todella mieluisa paikka varsinkin liikematkalaiselle.

”Lovely clean and comfortable room. Food was very good too”

”Sophie and Paul were most gracious hosts; genuinely kind and friendly and eager to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were excellent, made with fresh ingredients and prepared as their guests preferred. I would definitely stay here again. ”

”Stunning property beautifully designed and finished. Well maintained and comfortable”

”Free parking 2 minutes walk Easy access with codes provided in advance. No staff on site, but we had no call for them. Old building with renovated modern touch to the room. Not for people with mobility issues, main staircase winding/step/narrow. Room clean but not thoroughly (dust on sockets) Iron & ironing board provided, plus kettle & tea/coffee/sugar/milk Huge bed, was comfy with nice linen Wardrobe with safe and desk/dressing table and a full length mirror Excellent value for money”

”We were very impressed. Enjoyed our stay. Excellent value .”

”Love this place so friendly and welcoming”

”Used this place for business. Was close to work and affordable. The room was clean and had a fridge for my medication which is always a bonus. the staff in the restaurant and bar were great. Although it was a buffet breakfast, the food was still fresh and had not been cremated under the hot lights.”

”Nice bed and good shower, staff were lovely. Room very compact, noise from outside and the kitchen in the mornings.”
