”Lovely place to stay and perfect for exploring West Yorkshire and the Peak District. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable and owners and neighbours very friendly. Also has a lovely little courtyard where you can watch the sunset with either a glass or a cuppa. Will definitely stay again. ”

”Last minute choice for us but a good one. Lots of dog friendly space outside the hotel in the gardens which, whilst somewhat neglected were still enjoyable and full of wildlife. Hotel itself was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint or two but overall was in good condition and the evening receptionist and breakfast staff were top notch. Earlier in the evening we had walked out of a hotel we had booked and paid for as it transpired to be dismal but this place was an excellent last...

I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. I will not be using them again. I can recommend...

”We wanted somewhere close to Hillsborough Stadium, and The Queens Ground fit the bill perfectly. Our room above the pub was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The pub itself is a proper local’s boozer - warm, welcoming, and full of character, with reasonably priced drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would happily stay again.”
