”Property is very nice - very quiet and serene. Beach requires shuttle/boat, which isn’t bad but it’s not really walkable. The boat is a bit irregular on schedule. One night we were stuck on beach for longer than expected, but staff at the partner beach resort and banyan tree helped us with the shuttle.”

”Amazing hotel in north phuket. Big beautiful hotel room, pool area and good breakfast. Great location. Pool table👍 well equipped gym. There was quite a lot of families and kids playing at the pool - we didnt mind it much but definitely more kids than in the other lux hotels we were in. Food by the pool was bit overpriced for the quality. Little minus as well that we had ocean view room but the ocean wasnt showing that much.”

The beach was lovely and largely unoccupied - a nice contrast to the buzzling beaches in southern Europe for example. "This was already our fourth stay at The Sands – and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Our kids absolutely love this hotel, and so do we as adults. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and fun family holiday. The water park is a hit with the little ones, and the beach is stunning - clean, peaceful, and just steps away. We also appreciate how easy it is to reach the main road with just a short walk, where you’ll find plenty of shops, a 7/11, and great local restaurants. The Sands has truly become one of our favorite places to return to, and we can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended for families looking for a perfect balance of fun and relaxation!"
