”Off grid getaway tucked deep in the redwoods— arrival itself is an adventure. The apartment is a quiet, peaceful nook with an eclectic touch. The grounds are highly explorable and our pup had a wonderful time. Wondering around and waking up next to the rushing Eel River was a beautiful experience. Great place to stay if your goal is to disconnect for a while. 10/10 will return. ”

”We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!”

”This house was PERFECT for or family trip to the Redwoods. The house has beautiful view and perfect location. We were welcomed with a very nice bottle of wine and hand written note. The house sits on the 9 hole golf course run by adjacent KOA. We enjoyed golf and other KOA amenities. We walked to Benbow Inn for a very nice dinner. Our weather was rainy, it was nice to have this warm oasis to come home to each night. We did not use pool or hot tub due to weather.”

”This house was everything we hoped it would be. The views and location are excellent - Just a short walk to the beach and very convenient to hiking and biking trails and to the store and town. ”This was our first visit to northern California. We had a great view of the cove where there were sea lions and seals and enjoyed watching the birds and deer from the porch. We traveled to the redwoods which were not far. We also explored the General Store and enjoyed a meal at the brewery in Shelter Cove. All communication with the homeowner was prompt and courteous. Perfect trip!”

”Sleeps 3-5 easily if you share the main beds. Pellet stove very easy to operate and can heat the entire place. Plenty of pillows for the beds and lots of throw pillows too. Quiet location, diner around the corner. Coffee maker, hot water kettle, stove and microwave. Powerful shower if you like that sort of thing. Nice backyard courtyard to hang out in if the weather is nice. Washer and dryer are a nice plus as well. I’d definitely stay here again.”

”My employee and I stayed here one night for two days of work in the Shelter Cove area. This house was really nice, clean and roomy for the two of us. Close to the Cove and the brewery - our favorite place to eat and have a cold one after field work. The neighborhood was quiet, the property behind this house is a bit of an eyesore, but not a big deal for us. I would definitely stay here again.”
