”Visited for a long weekend with my S.O. in February 2026. This place was very nice. Our room had a fireplace and nice seating in front of the TV. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful served up hot in the room. B&B was right across the street from the ocean and a block away from a very nice restaurant which we dined at twice. It is walking distance to all downtown amenities and additional restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend and stay again.”

”I will continue to be a regular guest when I come to town. Steve at bar downstairs is a gem, however, given I stay for weeks at a time, it is a bit inconvenient that the bar/restaurant is only open Thurs to Sun and closes quite early in the evening. I can live without room service, but after a long day, it would nice to grab a bite.”

”This was really just a regular hotel room in an old fashioned building. The breakfast was what you would expect in a hotel - nothing special. The carpets are a bit old and had that old hotel smell. The rooms were not very sound proof. It would be fine if your main reason was to be in Half Moon Bay, and you aren’t looking for a particularly special or pampered experience.”

”This was my first time staying here and the place is cute and very close to the shops. Upon arrival there was no one available for check in as advertised on the website and the front door. I also called the phone number on the website and the front door has posted to which no one answered. Thank goodness for a housekeeper and groundskeeper that called the owner (Sandra) to ask what is going on since several families were standing outside to check in. After 2 hours they did an over the phone...

”4/5 rating. This place is absolutely amazing! Only points taken away for is parking lot, very tight and small so if there 2 or more cars it’s hard to get out of. And then the only other point taken away is the balcony, although it is gorgeous views and vibes, anybody can just walk up it so just be cautious and lock the sliding door. The lady in the front was amazing and helpful. The room was super clean and better than the pictures!”

”This a brand new hotel and is very nice. One of the only hotels we've stayed in that's inroom coffee is actually good. We asked that the room not be cleaned while we were there, having said that, I did ask on my way out for the day to have more coffee pods and toilet paper brought to our room. That didn't happen. I went to the front desk and asked when we got back to the room. The clerk promply got the items I needed, but alas, the coffee pod didn't fit in the machine. It's a small...

”The view was beautiful, we did not use the pool. Breakfast was great! The restaurant across the parking lot was very good!!!”

”The property and rooms were beautiful. The room service menu was very limited especially because all the dining options were luxury. There didn't feel like there was a casual restaurant or coffee shop on site unless I missed it. I also would have expected someone to help us with our lugguge upon arrival-a true bell hop-but the arrival was just OK. It would be great if they offered a golf cart for guests who are down in the rooms by the tennis courts. Otherwise, stunning property. ”

”The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is VERY convenient to downtown Half Moon Bay - right in the middle of some stores. Great for walking to restaurants and shopping. It was very quiet while we were there but I don't know about weekend noise. There is no staff on the premises but they did response to our phone calls to resolve a few minor problems. We paid for parking which was nice for coming and going. ”
