”All was ok, room, cleanliness, amenities and breakfast. Comfy bed and pillows. Some very friendly staff, others not as engaged.
Only criticism would be parking that we didn't realise would cost extra. It was £3.50 for overnight stay.”

”We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail.
The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty.
Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”

”The property was spotless, clean, the bed and open area spacious, but the bathroom, especially the bath area, was not big enough to move around.
The room temperature was colder at night.
Breakfast was good, with a variety of choices; the gym space is small and lacks enough equipment.
Most importantly, it is a nice place to get a quiet, relaxing break, and I would recommend it to loved ones and friends for a good staycation.
Also staff were friendly and consider coming back in future.”

”Very clean room, very comfortable bed. Bathroom is lovely and shower is great.
Hallways are a little dated decor wise but apart from this all good.
Staff are super friendly and helpful.
Over night car park charge of £16.
Did not dine in restaurant on this occasion or use the leisure facilities as we’re visiting friends.
Would happily stay again.”
