”Beautiful, quiet location, other guests were also quiet which makes a change from other similar properties. The food was nice albeit I would have liked more options. Staff were friendly, professional and kind. Overall a really nice relaxing stay”

”A comfortable Inn to stay the night, but as in all old houses, you can hear everything trough the walls. Like the busy pub downstairs or the other guest walking around upstairs. Convieniently close to the castle, but loads of narrow stairs, to get to the rooms.”

”An amazing YHA at the foot of the Miners Track to Snowdon! Loved this location nestled at the pass of the Welsh Mountains! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, the food was delish and so easy to get over to Snowdon! Remember to buy your parking ticket in advance. Loved my stay and I look forward to coming back… ”

”Stayed while walking the N Wales Saints Way. Staff were kind and helpful. Room was small but clean, quiet and comfortable and an additional heater and a fan were available. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options. Evening meal (the salmon) was excellent! ”

”Unfortunately whilst the rest of the country was at the start of a heat wave this area was under cloud & rain for most of our 4 day stay!! The location is great for the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways being about 5mins away and for the centre of Porthmadoc. The layout of the property is a bit strange. The top-floor consists of two bathrooms (one of them ensuite) and the main bedroom. On the floor below is the other bedroom, plus kitchen/lounge area + a a balcony with a nice view of the...

”Michelle was welcoming and helpful. The whole house is immaculate. The room and ensuite very well furnished with generous provisions. Would expect to pay a higher price for that level of accessories and provisions. Thank you for a lovely stay.”
