”It was quite and clean. The staff was friendly and everything worked OK in the room. Breakfast was very good.”

”Hotel was ok, breakfast was ok. Bed was comfy however the air conditioning was not working unless at set at 61 degrees so we either froze or was sweating. Elevator was not working either. Best thing was we got to eat at Chicken Lickin. It was delicious. Women running it were amazing!”

”Staff was very nice and friendly”

”The property itself was great. The billing is where the issue came in. I was charged an additional $30 once I arrived at the property to pay. Then I was charged an additional night for a pet fee the same night. Once I woke up the next morning, I was charged an additional 2 nights of a pet fee. When I spoke with the staff I was told it would be credited back. Within 30 minutes I was charged again for my room fee but that was reversed. The final day, I wake up to an additional 2 more nights of pet...

”The exterior is weathered, but the room nice. New refrigerator, microwave, and television. Comfortable bed and the carpet was clean. Possibly new. The man who checked me in, Gary, was a genuinely cheerful man, and very welcoming. I slept so well and I will stay here again”

”We booked the opal suite. It was just as the pictures looked, except maybe even better! There are 2 units on each floor. Opal was on the top and we loved sitting in the little sun room in the comfy blue chairs. There is also a small couch but not big enough for sleeping (love seat sized). The checkin instructions with pictures via the virtual checkin desk were super helpful! The elevator worked without issues. Great location! We didn't have a problem getting parking on the street. Some noise...

”Pool closed since July, it’s October 16, you should update your amenities and not advertise a pool. Room is tired, shelf between bed is ready to fall off the wall, smells a bit like dogs. Clean bathroom but chunks of wall missing.”

”Some of the staff was rude and there was no easy or cheap way to get drinkable water”

”We stayed in the Calhoun room. It is very pretty but it smells musty & the room was very damp. We discovered mold on the ceiling. Which is concerning. It was also our anniversary & they did not do anything special. Most places we stay leaves a nice note, bottle of wine, or chocolates. Wishing us a happy anniversary to make their guests feel special. The shower seal was about to fall off & there is a huge glass door. Another concern. I shared this & never heard back,”

”The hotel was very nice overall. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very dated and dim but clean. The location was the best amenity. Our room was described as a two queen balcony river view, which saying it had a balcony was a stretch. The balcony was so tiny and had loose wood. It felt unsafe with even one person on it, and there was no room for more than one or even a chair. There are were inexplicably soft boards right inside the balcony door, which you had to pass to get to the bathroom....

”The room was clean. The bathroom shower had leftover hair in it from previous guest. I requested extra pillows and they told me they couldn’t get them for me because they didn’t have access to the cleaning closet. (They have access to every available room to grab extra pillows even if the cleaning closet is “locked.”) The staff was not helpful. The breakfast available was literally waffles, 6 pieces of white toast, cereal, and yogurt. The bed was very comfortable.”

”Exquisite, is the word that comes to mind, regarding my stay at the Municipal Grand! From greeting me with a refresher drink after delayed/cancelled, rebooked flight day-to every amenity imagined! Located in the heart❤️of SCAD with eateries, shops, & historical tours. Place them on your bucket list as they are WORTHY!”

”Negatives were the door on side of building was open one bight( did not need my card to get in ; door opened on its own)… breakfast the first morning of our stay 9:45 am there was no hot breakfast left… phone in room did not work… had to ask for someone to clean it and ask for extra toilet paper. But otgerwise beautiful and was a great stay. Bed was the best.”

”We had a very nice stay. The front desk lady, Jackie, was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond when we checked in.”
