”We stayed here for one night with my mum, and our stay was just perfect. The hotel is simply beautiful and has a real castle vibe. The best thing was that the spa was included, which we weren't aware of before arriving. We had nice dinner at the hotel and then enjoyed the rest of the evening in the spa, till it closed. ”Great hotel and great location. **Just be aware of the hidden charges.** car parking is an additional £5, use of the pool is an additional £5. Food onsite is Ok. ”Beautiful place. We loved the fact that it's 799 years old, thinking about all the people that have come and gone before us enjoying the same space. Pretty grounds right on the river Dee. Old cemetery and remains of a chapel right behind for exploring. Natural beauty all around. Staff was welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a suite and everything met our expectations. Will definitely stay again. Also love that they have a vegan menu in their restaurant! 🌱💚”

”Only stayed for one night as in the area for business purposes. Had an evening meal in the bar area and the food was excellent. Room was clean and nicely decorated with all amenities provided.
