”This was a nice wayside hotel for a night or two. The young lady at the front counter who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. She even offered to help us carry our luggage from our car into the hotel. Now that's great service! It rained heavily one night and a lake formed on the north side of the parking area. We had to wait a few hours for the water to subside in order to recover our car. The parking area is shared by a few businesses, and unfortunately, there are large lorries that...

”A lovely little hotel slightly off the beaten track but within easy distance of Stirling and main routes to the highlands. Beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast. The pub food is really good too should you need lunch or dinner. It was quite warm and humid when I visited with no a/c, although hotel provided a fan, which was helpful. It’s located at a busy intersection, so there is traffic, but given that it’s located in the country, there is still a sense of peace about it. Highly recommend.”

”The exterior of the Inn could benefit from some improvements. First impressions matter, and on arrival we were concerned it might be a little run down. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case — our room was pleasant, comfortable, and spacious enough for a one‑night stay. The only downside was that the coffee and tea facilities were very limited, with just two sachets and a few milk capsules, and as the Inn closes early there was no staff around in the evening to ask for more. ”The snug was immaculate however we were unable to regulate the heating. In spite of turning all visible controls off, the heat was unbearable to the point we had to open the door at 4am.”

”a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.”

”The hotel was super as usual. The menu in the restaurant however was limited. I would have liked to see a cold option in this heat wave. I did have to phone down to reception at 01:30 due to a party going on in a room next door. It was however dealt with swiftly and this was outwith the hotels control. Room was clean, good selection of tea's in the room with nice biscuits and hot chocolate too. Staff were professional and helpful.”

”It was such a nice room in a great location! We loved the town of Linlithgow! One night we needed maintenance and someone responded to our email with minutes. So friendly and helpful.”

”Fantastic stay. Stayed many times in a snug pod for business maybe 15 times a year. Tried a cabin for first time because the price was cheaper than normal. Amazing, shame its too expensive to do more often. Only downside was the wifi was hit and miss but overall very good”
