”The room was very untidy. Found an old sock behind the curtains when I closed them. The room I was in was very noisy from the road at the front. The staff are very friendly and nice though and the breakfast is ok.”

”Extremely helpful staff, good food, well located. Didn’t know that the week I was starting the hotel was replacing all the entrance doors to all the rooms. So I was staying in a building site during the day. No advance notice, just an apology slid a note slid under the door after the first day.”

”Have stayed before but this time we had a two bedroom apartment. As with our previous stays, the apartment was comfortable, warm, well equipped. Yes a bit worn in places. Cooking facilities could be a little better eg. Condition of frying pan, no cooking oil but otherwise everything you could need.
Facilities on site are excellent. Adventure golf was very good. Pool and spa are nice and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Only thing that would be a big plus would be the addition of...

”This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly, breakfast was excellent with good quality products…. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but the menu is varied and the people I saw eating seemed to be enjoying themselves.
It’s less than 10 mins from the A38, through country lanes which makes you feel as if you are a lot farther from the hustle and bustle than you actually are…..a gem of a find and I will be back….”
