Yes the lanes are truly country - tight, muddy and bumpy but nothing unusual or to put you off. A good location for visiting all the well known towns & coasts and then retreating to the quietness of the cottage. Thoroughly recommend.”

”Great location for exploring the area, beautiful views - imagine would be even better in summer. Nice accommodation, fairly well equipped, but showers and heating could be better (couldn’t use the fire as no fire guard - we have dogs).”

”Lovely cottage, the owner reached out prior amd asked us about cot / highchair and then advised the best way to get there as the lanes arent great however nice and easy to find! Cottahe was immaculate! Everything within driving distance. We took our 2yr old daughter, plenty of space for her to run around and plenty of room to set up cot in either spare room, master room was lovely and spacious, wouldnt hesitate to go there again!”

”Place is great. Really nice conversion of the original buildings. All amenities thought of. Everything worked. Parking area always had spaces available. The area itself has loads of restaurant choices. In the evening it feels very safe lots of families walking around using the restaurants. 34 bus from town will also drop you off right outside Royal William Yard. The only negative I can think of is the flat was quite hot and couldn't really cool it down as windows are small. But a decent fan...

”Very nicely appointed accommodation. Three double rooms with large comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms - ideal for three couples. Comfortable living space and a great location for Plymouth (15 mins) without being in the city. Nice rural views. The large hot-tub is excellent, offering nice views. Could do with slightly better screening, some pegs for towels/robes and an outdoor light. One robe is included per room. The Mussell Inn offers very nice food and great service, though is closed on...

The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck.
