”This B&B is absolutely worth visiting due to the breakfast. If you are tired of those standard hotel breakfasts visit this place and you'll be happy. Rooms are rather normal and the general spaces are full of "collector's" stuff, don't let that disturb you (ok the weightlifter statue might get the cr** out of you if you stay in the room next to that) .. breakfast is the thing why you come here (you'll get a 5* breakfast in this place). Staff is extremely nice (enjoyed discussing with them a lot)...

”Exactly what I needed. Just in town for one night to see a late show at the Metro. Everything was walking distance. Adorable furnishings, clean, pet friendly, great breakfast and patio at the sister accommodation next door and well priced. Loud bars close by, but, that was as described. My dog was not bothered. ”My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful,...
