”Kiva hostelli joka on kauniisti sisustettu. Huone oli ok, ääni suojaus tosin huonoa (saatiin korvatulpat) ja tavaroiden kuivaaminen ei meinannut onnistua kosteuden vuoksi. Lisäksi pari työntekijää olivat hieman stressautuneen oloisia. Päivä tourit hieman kalliinpuoleiset mutta hostellilla paljon ilmaista aktiviteettia.”

”Great hostel in the heart of La Fortuna, situated 40 metres from Selina Hostel and 2 minutes from the bus terminal, main plaza and supermarkets. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the entire ambience of the place is calming and cozy. WiFi was great too. Note though that the 9 bed dorm consists of triple bunks.”

”The roof of our room on the "tower" side moldy and when it started raining the roof leaked all over my stuff. The receptionist took a 5 $ deposit for the keys but when we checked out she didn't return it not even when we asked for it. The male staff were very nice but this woman was not cooperative. The main side was comfy and nice and the restaurant offered cheap and tasty traditional meals, also the breakfast was superb.”

”We had a wonderful time. Hikda and Dani were ex eptionally gracious and accommodating, even when we misplaced our keys! I stay in many differnet types of lodging in Costa Rica, amd I bring tourism clients, and this one is now high on my list of places I must return. ”

”Great hostel situated in a nice neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from the centre including the supermarkets and bus terminal (the centre is frankly not as pleasant as the suburbs). Rooms have secure key codes, and lockers are situated in the communal kitchen which is large, clean and well equipped. Everything was good. Would recommend.”

”Cet hôtel n’existe plus. Les nouveaux propriétaires ne sont pas sur hotel.com, ni sur expédia. Ils n’étaient pas avertis de notre réservation. Par conséquent nous sommes arrivés devant un hôtel fermé. C’est la première fois qu’une telle erreur se produit pour nous sur hotels.com dont nous sommes pourtant des utilisateurs réguliers ”

”Despite being a little mix-up on room type, Adrian (the owner) did all he could to make it right and I had a very pleasant experience. Their hospitality was amazing and the room was comfortable. I had to work one afternoon and the internet worked great. The lounge/common areas were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need. The only thing I would recommend is that if you book through a 3rd party (like Hotels.com) to call and confirm your room type in advance. ”

”Ho soggiornato due notti con mia moglie in una stanza con bagno privato. La stanza era dotata solo di un letto matrimoniale e di un comodino, senza armadi, tavoli o altre sedie. Seppur bene illuminata da grandi finestre, le tende erano così trasparenti da costringerci a stare con la luce elettrica spenta la sera, per evitare di essere visti da fuori. Il bagno, ampio e spazioso, era però dotato di una doccia da cui l'acqua non si scaricava bene e ristagnava sul fondo. Personale molto cordiale e...

”Our room overlooked the river. We had fireflys at night, chamelions in the day and real peace and quiet. There is everythng you could need pools fed by the river, trails through the grounds, kitchens barbeques all in good condition. Easy to get to on a good road and close enough to town. ”

”The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...
