”Overall it was a beautiful property, clean and great location to volcano. Unfortunately our AC unit wasn’t working and made a very loud noise all night long so we couldn’t sleep. We were offered $30 for the inconvenience which I did not feel was appropriate for no sleep, no AC with two small children in tow. The manager was “in a meeting” so we weren’t able to resolve any further before we left. ”

”This is a second tome we stayed at the hotel. First time was four years ago and it was quiet boutique hotel, now it's in process of expansion. We love the place and would come back. I included the negative responce about it to inform, not to deter. The highlights: You can walk to the river, it's a short hike, and swim in there, very beautiful spot to take photos. ”The view from the top terrace patio was beautiful and it was comfortable to sit outside and nature watch and talk with other travelers. The staff was so helpful and nice. The breakfast options were varied. I needed some down time so sat and read on the terrace with a lovely view and protection from the rain. The staff facilitated a tour for me including transportation. A terrific!”

”Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep! Wild life was everywhere- including many poisonous species. Our kids, 5 & 8 understood not to touch anything, but I would not recommending kids any younger as the jungle surrounds...

”We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it. We had a great view of Arenal from our little patio and the property had a nice little walk with some wildlife and we enjoyed that. The mineral waters were also very enjoyable, it’s not running water but soaking in the pool after a day of hiking was so relaxing. The surrounding of the mineral waters are lovely. I also enjoyed the massage I got on side the masseuse was very pleasant and very good. ”
