”A lovely traditional Irish farmhouse, very similar to the family farmhouse of my wife’s late mother in North Co Cork. ”Great stay: Nice big kitchen and plenty of parking. Everything was labeled well for anything that was tricky to figure out. There are switches to turn appliances like the w/d off which must be very convenient for energy savings. Wish we had that in the USA. Switching it all on is easy. There were laundry pods and dishwasher detergent.Quiet area, but close to the town... Grocery store is maybe a 5 min drive or so. There's a backyard patio type area that's really nice. There's a super cute pub...

This place is a true gem, absolutely recommended. A spacious room, comfortable bed(s), powerful shower, very good breakfast and extremely nice service that leaves you with a feeling that both the customer and the hotel itself are taken good care of. Location also very convenient near the university and Botanical Garden: the street in front of the hotel is quiet, but there are dozens of restaurants within a walk of a minute of two.
