”Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. ”We loved staying in an iconic mushroom house (smallest one I think) and the house is surprisingly spacious. The design of the “Half House” is well-organized inside, you just feel like an oversized person in a hobbit house in the most adorable way (yes, ceiling height was great!). The fireplace was our favorite feature. Our host was kind and gracious, all amenities were supplied and we just loved it here. ”

”The cottage was just what we needed. It was plenty big enough for 5 adults and 2 kids. The lake was great for my granddaughters for swimming and the sandy bottom worked out well. Had everything we needed as far for cooking, rooms of a good size. We went the sand dune clime and butterfly zoo in traverse city. Stacey was great to work with. Will go back for sure next year. ”

”Wow, this place is central to so many great spots. In one week we did so much around the area. My 2.5YO and 6YO loved the property. The water is shallow all the way out to the buoys. My 6 year old and wife walked out to the buoys 4x. My 2YO loved playing in the water but mostly loved digging in the beach on the property with all the provided toys & tools. ”This was a spot as close as possible to a very good fishing spot. The accommodations were very clean and very comfortable for two married men used to the creature comforts. ”Overall was a perfect place to stay for our short stay. Lake is beautiful & peaceful, no noise & very little traffic. Tried to do some fishing, but lake is very weedy and didn't have any luck after trying many different spots on lake. The Roku was frustrating to use since we weren't familiar; wished we could have gotten local channels for the news/weather. But all that was all minor. We really enjoyed our home away from home.”
