”4 of us stayed 2 nights in April 2026. Very cute house in a quiet, safe neighborhood. House was very clean with modern decor. We spent time on back patio enjoying the atmosphere with outdoor string lighting and seating for 4. Then we moved to the cozy firepit surrounded by rock to end the evening. "Generally speaking, we had a wonderful stay! The window seats were a BIG hit for us all and we spent many hours sitting in them, watching people, cars and boats. The location could not be beat and we were able to walk just about everywhere. The river is literally steps away. If you're booking a suite, paying extra for the river view is absolutely worth it! However, advertising the suite as suitable for 4 adults is a joke. We were travelling with 2 adults + 1 child (12 y/o) and it was just about okay for us. I tested the sofa bed and I would NOT be happy to sleep in it, let alone have 2 adults share it. It was very creaky and not supportive at all, but for one child under teenage years, it worked. Bring earplugs as the riverwalk does attract party people at all hours (constant drumming throughout the night) and the streets have non-stop traffic, including emergency vehicles. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to pick another location. We will be happy to return to L7 the next time we're in Chicago!"
