”Everything about this place was amazing! It’s truly a Tybee treasure. Whimsical is an apt description of the entire home- Jan and Bill have thought of every little detail to make it a delightfully refreshing getaway. The only thing that would make it better is if it was on the water—it was an easy walk, though, if we weren’t carrying so much “stuff” down to the beach. ”

”Everything we’d hoped for was accommodated in this perfect place: garage to stow our bicycles, location central to Old Town, the River, memorials, historic homes and cathedrals, restaurants, and easy access by car to Tybee, the Cemetary, and the botanical gardens. ”We had such a wonderful weekend stay! The location was perfect—very walkable, and we easily covered about 3 miles each day. The dock was easy to find, and we even took a picnic down to enjoy the water (bonus: we saw dolphins playing!). Just a tip—watch for the tide coming back in; we ended up wading through about 4 inches of water to get back to the backyard, which honestly just added to the adventure.Inside, the home was super comfortable and thoughtfully set up. ”This house was a perfect getaway for my family. It has everything; the hosts thought of all the details and more. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the outdoor shower. House was very clean. Loved that the beach chairs and towels were provided. The location was perfect, the beach and Savannah were both a short drive. Lacey was an amazing host, very prompt with responses. ”

”Lovely location, peculiar kitchen set-up, not very good water flow from bathroom faucet, yard was a little lacking for “pet friendly”. Overall, the neighborhood was quiet and nice for (dog) walking and the accommodations were comfortable. Thank you for allowing me to bring my dog!”

”This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
