”We stayed at Casa Vera for one night. We loved Orveito and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Vera. A few items that may help you. There are several different units all under the umbrella of Casa Vera- they are in close proximity but could be in different buildings. There could be stairs. ”One-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”

The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Thank you very much your warm hospitality! Italian style breakfast was a nice bonus. Our apartment had very good air-conditioning, was spacious and stylish with cooking-facilities. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.”

”It was living in a fairytale and being the king and queen of the castle! Our room on the top floor had the most amazing view of Orvieto! The apartment was so comfortable, clean, and well appointed! The staff were all amazing - friendly, professional, and extremely helpful!! There was so much to do and see onsite and close by. The included breakfast is amazing!!! We took a cooking class and just loved it!! It was a private class and we made pasta (2 kinds) and pizza (2 kinds) from scratch...

”Eravamo nella strada per il sud e abbiamo fatto una tappa ad Orvieto e questo albergo è stata la scelta ideale! Vicinissimo all’uscita dall’autostrada, vicinissimo al centro di Orvieto. Parcheggio di fronte, vicino personale gentilissimo, colazione con un’ottima selezione di dolci, davvero meglio di tante pasticcerie. La camera era essenziale ma comoda. Solo il box doccia che era un po’ piccolino.”

Unfortunately the accommodations were lacking in some basic provisions that we had expected would be provided such as toilet paper, pillow cases for the extra pillows which we required, drying towels for dishes, Also of importance is that to there is not parking spot provided which we understood from the website...

”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go.
