Très bel endroit!l
L’appartement de Annie est très bien situé dans Portree et belle base pour visiter toute l’île de Skye. C’est très propre, cosy, confortable…on s’y sent tout de suite chez soi! Cuisine bien équipée, salon confortable, les lits des chambres au 2e aussi! Petit jardin avec une corde pour sécher le linge(sinon, il y a un étendoir).Stationnement facile sur la rue. La vue de la chambre principale est superbe surtout avec le soleil de fin de journée! Très beau séjour…c’est encore mieux que sur les photos! Merci Annie!

Great place
Convenient location with an accurate description and picture. Owner was very easy to communicate with and provided all the details we needed in advance as well as having additional information available at the residence. The house was very comfortable and charming. It is in a great location for views over the city and a close walk to the grocery store, town, and dock. Street parking was no issue for us. We would highly recommend and return.

We stayed in the Isle of Skye for 3 nights and Annie’s place was perfect. So beautiful and homey we immediately felt comfortable. The amenities for a family of four were certainly adequate and the grocery store was a 2 minute walk down the hill. We wanted or needed nothing else for a great stay. The view from the sitting room and primary bedroom were superb. Annie was very responsive to any questions. Everyone we met while there was so friendly. Highly recommended this venue. Thanks Annie for a wonderful stay and experience!!

Perfect location!
We had a wonderful stay at our little house in Portree, it was the ideal location, steps from the coop, local restaurants and buses. The house was spotless, the beds were comfy, it was quiet and perfectly suited for 4 friends travelling together. I would highly recommend staying here, I would again in a heartbeat.

Perfect !
We felt very much at home at Mountain View and would happily stay there again. The property was extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. Located on a quiet street with spectacular views, it was just a few minutes walk into town and we were always able to find somewhere to park outside. Highly recommended !

This property has everything you could ask for! Located in the perfect spot to explore everything the Isle of Skye has to offer within the lovely town of Portree. Steps to shops, fantastic restaurants and pubs and quick drives to many fantastic hikes. The house was spotless, updated, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Could be more thrilled with our stay!

Annie’s property was very well appointed, exceptionally clean and utilities well labeled. The position within the city Centre was very convenient, and the parking worked well in the street (considering the number of tourists). I would highly recommend this delightful cottage. Wonderful Cottage in Beautiful Portree
Our stay at this adorable cottage was just the respite our family of four (all adults) needed halfway through our trip. The cottage met all our needs, check-in and out were a breeze, the cottage was clean and cozy, and host Annie was always prompt with responses. Ideal spot in Portree, two mins walk from town centre, views over the hills and harbour and very quiet. Skye is magical. Been 20 years since we were last year and now have two teenagers in tow. Busier than last time but no less magical

Super convenient location, parking available in front of house. Perfect for a family of 4 with one room having 2 twin beds. Also great to have a washer available to do laundry and a clothesline for driving. Thanks.

Beautiful and close to everything!
A quaint beautiful house near the center of everything in Portree. The grocery store is just a couple minutes walk. Pubs just down the street as well. The house is clean, well organized, and very comfortable. You can’t go wrong renting here. We will be back! Thank you Annie!

Perfect stay
Everything about this stay was great. The location was within easy walking distance to the center, the decor was lovely, and the amenities were as listed in the description. You could not beat the view from the table! We really appreciated the host letting us use the clothesline in the back for drying clothes. The only suggestion would be to have lighter quilts on the twin beds as it was quite (unusually) warm when we were there in June. Perfect stay!

A few minutes from the main town of Portree this was the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful island of Skye. Views of the harbour from the living room and bedroom and it was equipped with everything we needed. A washing machine but no drier so took advantage of the lovely weather and used the line in the back yard. (Nore we used a quick watch and an extra rinse-otherwise it would have taken 2 hours plus a load). The food co-op is on the corner of the hill and bars and restaurants a five minute walk. As with all vrbo's in residential neighbourhoods be mindful of your neighbours when you come back late at night.

Perfect Portree Place
We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location, just a short way down the street to the heart of Portree. A great base to explore the rest of the island. The kitchen was perfect for the night we cooked in. I could have used a fry pan but made do. I recommend dinner reservations durning peek season, as the restaurants book up fast! We felt comfortable, it was truly a home away from home. Beds were comfortable. And the view was beautiful!

Incredible location!!
Overall wonderful stay, epic view from the main bedroom of the Portree harbor, and location made everything easy. Parking located right out front, washer and kitchen were both very convenient. Host was super responsive and helpful.

Une adresse à retenir, vous êtes au calme.
Appartement très propre et bien agencé, fidèle à l'annonce. Doit être très agréable de mai à septembre. Le parking est gratuit certes, comme le précise l'annonce, le tout est de trouver une place de libre. Et quand vous partez en balade à 10H et que vous revenez à la nuit... Mais avec de la patience, vous trouvez. Cela vous fera marcher encore un peu. N'êtes-vous pas là pour cela. La supérette de proximité quant à elle, est très bien, à moins de 2 minutes de l'appartement, avec des gérants très accueillants comme bon nombre d'Ecossais que nous avons croisé. Et cela fait vraiment plaisir d'être accueilli comme cela pour des touristes français. L'appartement un peu loin du centre ville (45 à 50 bonnes minutes à pied). A prendre en compte dans vos balades découvertes. Tout était très bien : Cuisine bien équipée, chambres bien, salle de bains petite mais très cocooning... En fin de compte à part le chauffage le soir notamment. Nous n'étions pas prévenu qu'il fallait venir avec son bois ??? Ce serait à notifier sur l'annonce quand vous venez hors période chaude. Il paraît que c'est la crise de l'énergie ? Les radiateurs étant contrôlés à distance, nous n'avons pas pu agir sur ceux-ci. Remarquez également que c'est le seul propriétaire de notre séjour en Ecosse (15 nuits) qui nous a demandé d'apporter notre chauffage ??? Les soirs étaient vraiment frais en ce début octobre. Il serait vraiment très agréable d'avoir au moins quelques bûches pour assurer la première flambée madame la propriétaire... Votre poêle était tellement propre qu'on ne savait même pas qu'il était utilisable. Nota : Pour finir, je trouve que les étoiles Abritel vous force un peu à mettre que des 4 ou 5 (Horrible, Passable, Médiocre, Adéquate et Optimal) ??? Pour la précision de l'annonce en ligne j'ai mis 3 étoiles car les précisions n'étaient pas "Adequates" donc 3 étoiles. Communication avec le gérant immobilier ? Essayez d'avoir un propriétaire ou un gérant avec votre téléphone, tout net se fait que par email. Super la communication. Donc dans mon cas ce n'était pas "Adéquate". Emplacement et environs : Assez loin du centre ville à pied donc pas "Adéquate". Appréciation générale : Comme il y a plus de 3 étoiles que de 4 étoiles, cela donne une appréciation générale de 3 étoiles. Voilà pour les précisions de ma notation. Mais on en a marre de ce monde ou tout le monde note tout le monde, tout en sachant que chacun à ses propres critères. Joel

Surpassed expectations!
We were very impressed by the care that went into this property/home. It was clean, well stocked and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the vanity and hair dryer provided. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook meals. It had a lovely view of Portree from the bay window. The only complaint was that there was no toilet paper stocked, which I’m sure was just an uncharacteristic oversight, and there was a convenience store very close by. Would definitely recommend this property!

Lovely long weekend away in Portree
The area that the property is in is very convenient, within view of the town square, pubs and shops in lovely Portree. The property itself was very clean, well put together and well maintained, we had no faults at all with anything, so we didn't need to contact the host, but if we had needed to, I have no doubt that any issues we had would be resolved very quickly. Overall, a very nice stay and would stay again if we were ever in Skye and I would definitely recommend the property to others. Thankyou

Excellent accomodation in great location
House had everything we needed and more - including handwashing & kitchen cleaning essentials. Property really clean and well kitted out, and beautiful view from the lounge and master bedroom. Parking on street outside the property was full by time we arrived late on a Friday evening. Wasn’t huge issue but had to drop passengers and luggage off outside while I went to find parking. Parking plentiful once you find it (large car park at front) but be warned - you do need to pay and display and a relative of ours received a fine earlier in the year for not having a ticket on first thing next morning (just for info and not a criticism of this property). I went down early next morning to move my car and managed to find a space a little further along the street. All in all a wonderful stay in a wonderful property and would definitely come back here again.

Loved this stay!
This property is a perfect location in downtown Portree, within a 5min. walk to all the shops and restaurants, including a Co-op Food. The house has recently been remodeled and the kitchen and bath are modern, clean, and beautiful. The view of Portree Harbour from the windows is a beautiful way to wake up. Plenty of parking on the street in front. There is a new washer but no dryer so plan accordingly if you need to air dry cottons (it took a couple days.) Unfortunately the electric fireplace wasn't working because previous guests had not turned it off. We would definitely stay here again!

Portree Vacation
Our stay here was wonderful. The house is literally steps from the town centre and steps from the co-op for groceries. The house was clean and stocked. The communication with the owner was wonderful and instantanous. We used the home as a base to explore Skye and were very pleased with its location to do so. The view from the front window and master bedroom window was amazing! We would highly recommend this property! Thank you for letting us use this home for the third leg of our Scotland vacation.
