”The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. ”This property is amazing. Just as pictured. It is a bit remote as it is off the main roadway a bit but that is part of what I loved. The views from the porch were gorgeous. ”Hotel is in beautiful location by the shore, the view from the dining room was impressive. Perhaps other rooms had view on the shore, ours was for the dining room. Location as in Broadford does not have much to offer, though... Room was ok, good value for the price but noisy, you could easily hear other guests walking upstairs, floors were squeky. Wifi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms, which was a big minus.”

”Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional. ”

”Sleeping in a distillery was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. A complimentary whiskey in a room was a pleasant surprise. Island is very walkable and views are amazing. The only downside is room was on a small side but it worked for us since we had two smaller bags. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. ”

”This was a beautiful rural property with lots of character. the road in was a single lane road with lots of potholes, but once entering the property the driveway was great with easy parking. rooms were large on a courtyard configuration. On site restaurant served excellent food and staff was outstanding . The complimentary continental breakfast was awesome and a lot more then we have experienced in other establishments. An outstanding stay and will highly recommend.”

"Beautiful room with a lovely view to the Portree harbour. Close to everything (shops, pubs) and convenient location for exploring the area. I have no experience communucating with the staff, but they seemed to be easily reachable if I had needed something. Walls were really thin though, could hear everything from the room next door, but I didn’t mind that. "
