”Really good base to have as we spent a week exploring beautiful Mid Wales. Quiet. Really pleased with our stay. Thank you so much.”

”Very nice cottage with beautiful gardens. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The owner provided tea, coffee and milk, which was a very nice touch as we arrived very late. Would definitely stay again.”

”Exceptionally clean property, beautiful views, very quiet location, lovely cake on arrival from the host. Small but perfectly formed and although the furniture is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. Real fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen and fairly new bathroom.”

”We had a great short break at The Cottage. It has everything you could need, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed and thoughtful touches such as the automatic nightlights. The location is very peaceful. We were very lucky on our arrival day that the weather was amazing and we had a lovely time sitting in the pretty, tranquil garden watching birds and butterflies and then listening to an owl once it went dark. Definitely coming back!”

”I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

”We had a great time at horsecroft cottage. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Lovely furniture and furnishings .The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. Definitely going to come here soon.”

”Truly excellent, warm and welcoming on every level. Great facility's wonderful views. Handy local amenities' at Kington and not far too Hereford for Museums', Art and History and many beautiful rivers. The property itself is charming and extremely comfortable. All in all a great property to enjoy this part of the English/Welsh border.”

”This break was superb. We were additionally blessed with the best Autumn weather I can recall. The accommodation is set in a wonderful garden, which is currently a celebration of seasonal colours ,and we were greeted by a very hospitable owner, who made us feel welcome and comfortable. A relaxed stay with ease of access to Hereford ,and we were spared any rains and fords.”

”This was a last minute thing that my family member had booked with her friend but unfortunately there was a family emergency that meant she was unable to go. I jumped at the opportunity as My sister, who has had cancer and in remission, was able to come with me. We obviously knew all the details of the location and accommodation, but when it came to go to bed, up a ladder, we expected a room, but instead there was a thin double mattress on a platform of wood, and there was no way we could stand...

”We have had a lovely family get together at Otters View, the accommodation is very atmospheric and site staff are very helpful and friendly. Rhayader is a stunning location with so much on the doorstep.”

”Perfect location, everything you need for a relaxing few days. Plenty of room in the garden for the dog to run freely.”

”We had a fabulous time. The house is well presented. Wonderful views, very peaceful, a great place for a family get together ❤️”

”Good communication before and during our stay. Exceptionally clean Quiet location. Good seating areas x3 for family Well equipped kitchen Good room for the dog/s to stay”

”The property was excellent, 3 good size bedrooms for a change. Although very isolated, up a very narrow track but it was worth it. I would come back again for the week with the dogs to just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the bleating sheep.”
