Enjoy circular walks from the village or take a short drive to explore the Forest of Bowland AONB further (2 miles). You can hike Longridge Fell (5 miles) or Parlick (8.5 miles) for fabulous views or follow in the footsteps of J.R.R. Tolkien on the renowned Tolkien Trail (4 miles). Also nearby, on the other side of Clitheroe (11 miles), hike the mighty Pendle Hill (17.5 miles) and learn about its witchy history.
