”Large comfy villa with superb pool and outdoor areas to enjoy. Beautiful gardens and stunning views of the sea with complete privacy. We hired a car to get around the island for day trips but there are a few good quality restaurants a short 10 min walk down the hill towards the sea front. Di Meglio Pizzeria and La Sciavica were both superb. La Mortella gardens were a 1 min walk from the villa and a must see as they are amazing. ”Villa Elena is a very large, very beautiful villa in a great location in Capri. It has an amazing view of the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius, and other parts of Capri. ”Kitchen equipment for cooking was at an absolute minimum, but manageable. Dishwasher didn't work properly, which was annoying. Apart form this, the house was small but lovely and comfortable. The terrace was amazing, spacious and with a stunning view.”

”The villa is spacious and has a beautiful view of the harbor. We enjoyed the outdoor patio for morning coffee/breakfast, watching the boats coming and going. The hot tub was relaxing too. A special recognition for the hostess, Isabella. She makes sure you have everything and treats you like she’s known you for some time. We planned a private birthday dinner with Isabella; she and her friend cooked a wonderful Italian meal. A great experience. Highly recommend!!”

”A stunning property with large terrace and pool, overlooking the Faraglioni, near Marina Piccola. The villa is walkable but bear in mind that Capri walkways are full of stairs and narrow roads, so plan accordingly and pack light. The property manager Luca was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay... making dinner reservations, booking taxis for us, and making suggestions for the area. Absolutely loved Capri!”

He was always accessible and would go over and beyond to provide suggestions and answers to any questions we would have. I was told by the owner she could arrange transfers, a chef or anything else we wanted. I contacted her prior to arrival and she promised a driver. No one was at the dock to meet us. ”As others have stated, the property overall is beautiful. The inside could use a thorough cleaning particularly the bathroom as the shower curtain had mold. The adjacent extra bungalow had some mold throughout and an overall musty odor. Be prepared to walk up or down hill to get to the various local hot spots. Rita was very easy to work with and arranged for luggage porter service to get the bags to the ferry upon departure. That service was worth every penny! Overall I would come back with...

”The villa was great especially the pool area which we all enjoyed immensely. Unfortunately the area outside the gated area is dire. Little or no local amenities and the street was dirty and most buildings were abandoned. The blurb for the property was changed recently to state that a car was needed and had i seen that I wouldn't of booked as none of our party wanted to drive.
