”Huoneeni oli iso ja rauhallinen. Hotellissa ei ollut respaa. En tajunnut ottaa yhteyttä etukateen, vaan soitin vasta kun olin perillä. Onneksi paikan päällä oli henkilökuntaa. Sijainti oli aika kaukana keskustasta eikä lähellä ollut oikein muuta kuin omakotitaloja. Paikan nimi oli vähän yliampuva. Huoneeni näköala oli tyyliä "merikin näkyy" eli se pilkotti vähän kaukaisuudessa.”

”I loved my room a little way too much! I wish I would have stayed in this hotel for more days. I was very impressed with my stay and how close it is to downtown. The only issue I encountered was that the hotel room that I booked included breakfast but the hotel was charging for breakfast. ”

”I had booked for a family member who did t have data etc and the owner went above and beyond for me. I sent hom pics and he went to the airport twice to find him. Forever grateful! Thank you”

”The flat itself was quite decent but the owner of the property was very not responsive. She gave us a wrong lockbox code to access the flat, we tried to call her quite a few times with no luck. We eventually found out one of the window was not completely shut so we managed to "break into" the property. The bathroom wasn't clean to normal standards and the shower did not have hot water on the first day so we had to waste good few hours in the morning to sort everything out ”

”The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. ”

”Four adults stayed in Cottage 1 at Buccaneer Beach Club. We checked into a clean cottage and it was cleaned every 2nd day. Shout out to Natalie who cleaned and always had the nicest smile and kind soul. Stanley is one of the first faces we saw, he greeted us and helped with the luggage and groceries we had. ”This was a lovely stay! We chose it for the price & location being right in the middle of the island and only about 20 minutes in any direction to any of the harbors, etc. They are very kind, very clean & it's peaceful in the 'country' there. The bed was comfy but both of our backs hurt after staying in it for a couple nights, so that's why I rated comfort a 4/5 but overall I would highly recommend!”

”large rooms light and airy (upstairs , downstairs seemed like they may be a little dark and there would be people walking past all the time) steps to upper floor slippy in the tropical weather so be aware if this is a thing for you. all staff, like everywhere in Antigua very friendly and helpful (one minor exception - housekeeping on day of departure a little rude / brusk). quite location , except gardening noise most days (they have to be maintained) walking distance to restaurants but...

”I can't say enough about the service and staff. The entire butler staff was so accommodating especially when we dealt with Michael. All our excursions and transportation was handled by the butler staff. This was our second time at Hodges Bay Resort and it was even better than our first time. The food menu was more varied since the last time and we tried many of the items from each menu. Since we had a suite, we loved to order room dining and take our time and relax. ”Annie was truly the soul of the place. She greeted us cheerfully every time we met and made sure we were well looked after. The view from the main terrace, pool area, and our cottage was spectacular – directly facing the English Harbour. While the premises could benefit from a little uplift, the rustic style added a cosy and authentic charm.”
