Beach front with an amazing view

The beauty and calm of the crystal blue Caribbean Sea is right outside your door and our charming town square only a short 15-20 minute stroll away. This cozy third-floor apartment has a balcony, where you can dine while enjoying the amazing view. Perfect for 3 adults or a family with smaller children. Base rate is for 2 people. Additional guests for an additional charge. Extra person per night $30 USD . The master bedroom has a king bed and the second small room has a queen bed. Fully equipped kitchen, living room, flat screen TV, AC, and free WiFi. Lounge chairs on the beach and by the pool. Linens supplied. 500 thread count sheets. Lovely Mexican details. The central office at Abbey del Sol is just a block away with helpful, friendly English-speaking staff to help with anything you need.

Located in the Casitas Blanca condominium complex in the most privileged residential area of Puerto Morelos, just steps away from the beach and 8 blocks from the town square. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and refreshing pool along with your ocean view.

awsome experience

casa frida is a wonderfull place to decompress in a small town with everything you could ever want.the room had all we needed for or stay.has amazing views. staff has the room so clean as well.check in was a breeze.

Great Place to Stay

We (two couples) stayed at this condo for five days and absolutely loved it. It’s beautiful and clean and has everything you need, even chairs to take down the beach if you like. We enjoyed the pool and having our own lounge chairs on the water. We loved the view from the balcony. We will be back I’m sure. :)

Beautiful Condo in Charming Beach Town

Had a great few days staying at Casa Frida. The home is well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. Spent evenings on the patio enjoying the ocean views and breeze. The access to the beach was great and the pool was a nice bonus. The kitchen had all the needed appliances and kitchen ware. The home is a 10-15 min walking distance to the town center which is charming with many food options and shopping options. You can walk to town along the beach as well. The property is well kept and has beautiful green spaces. Check-in was easy and the property management communicated proactively. I highly recommend Casa Frida and will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Amazing stay at Casa Frida!

Casa Frida is absolutely lovely. Right on the beach and an easy walk to the beautiful and relaxing town of Puerto Morelos. The condo was sparkling clean and has every amenity. Casita Blanca is well maintained. The pool is great, the palapas and chairs on the beach are so nice. We’ll be back for sure!

A great vacation

Casa Frida is a lovely condo . This was our second time staying there. Convenient to all the town shops & restaurants. The office staff at Abby Del Sol is very helpful. Any problems are resolved right away. My only concern, was that the beach was not being cleaned as it was in the past, but that would not deter us from coming back . We had a great vacation at Casa Frida.

Online pics were exact! The space was beautifuly decorated, perfect location and a few blacks from town square. Easily walk or ride bikes. The morning sunrise views were priceless. We met other folks that owned units in the complex that were very friendly. Diving Bar is next door and never loud, but it sure is fun. Just steps from the beach so you can enjoy poolside lounging or hanging in the beach. Never felt unsafe even walking home at night. Property Mgmt was amazing and readily available if we needed anything. I want to live in POMO! I hope to be back soon!

Short stay before flying home

After checking out of an all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya we stayed 2 nights at this lovely condo with beautiful oceanfront views. The unit was perfectly clean and provided more than enough room for our family of four. My daughter had the pool to herself the first evening and we ate at Unico Beach club the first night since we wanted something close and quick. We walked 15 min to breakfast at El Nicho the next day (highly recommend) and then did an excursion with Cenote Zapote. Pricey but worth it to swim in 4 beautiful cenotes! We walked the beach into town and ate at King Tacos and got some ice cream. It was dark so we felt more comfortable grabbing a taxi back to the condo. It was only 3 US dollars plus a tip. The one slight drawback was the seaweed that deterred us from swimming in the ocean, but that is outside of the owner's control. The beach in Riviera Maya did not have as much seaweed and still had clear blue waters to swim in. Just something to note if swimming in the ocean is high on your list. Overall, we had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Beautiful inside and out!

The accommodations were stunning and everything was so clean and comfortable. We loved the ocean view from our balcony and enjoyed watching the sunrise everyday! Mariela was so helpful and responsive to any of our requests. Definitely recommend!

Better than expected

Casa Frida is bright and airy, updated & nicely kept. Located in the Casita Blanca condos , it’s convenient to beach clubs, restaurants, shops. It’s very walkable & I loved that I could go to the fruit marked, the bakery, the fish shop, and buy the local goods. We will be back.

Fantastic Place, Amazing Views, Great Location

This condo unit was exactly what was expected. It was clean and ready, and cleaned again while we stayed. The grounds, garden areas, pool and roped-off beach area were fantastic, and the views from the 3rd floor balcony are amazing. Beautiful sunrises, either from the balcony or down on the beach, are a must! You are steps from the beach, near beach clubs, and about 6-8 blocks from some really great restaurants, dining and the square. The staff are very friendly, attentive to needs and questions, and check in with you at times just to ensure you are enjoying yourself and if anything is needed. Thank you to Mariela!! We will definitely try to stay here again on our next Puerto Morelos visit!

From the very start the stay was great. The manger of property was very nice and very informative.

The property is very very nice and the view is amazing. The condo was very clean and very thing was in place. I only problem is couldn't stay longer.

Absolutely amazing

This condo blew me away! I am also a host on VRBO and this experience made me realize I should step it up. The condo was clean, modern, had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Fully stock everything and safe water to drink. The property manager checked in with us daily, as well as left us detailed tips in their welcome book. Someone left another review complaining about the beach. First, the sand is a gorgeous white sand beach with turquoise water. Don’t know how much better it gets than that!! Also, we did have the seaweed issue, but that’s seasonal, like leaves in the fall if you go to New England. If you don’t like some seaweed and want a perfect beach, check the season and do your research on WHEN to come. That is no fault of the owner. Anyways, we had an absolute blast and felt cared for and catered too! Definitely pick THIS condo. We’ll be back!

Disappointing

We were so excited to come to this ocean front property, only to learn that the beach/ocean was filled with large amounts of "sargassum" which is brown algae. Apparently this has been an increasing problem in Puerto Morelos for many years from what I read, and has been active for many months. There was a machine in the ocean every morning trying to remove it to no avail. We were disappointed this was not disclosed, as the ocean was undesirable and not swimmable. It smelled bad and was full of bugs, and the water was literally brown, nothing like the picture, or description of a "crystal blue Caribbean Sea". I also read that it can cause a rash if you do swim in it, which was not even an option for us. We left and went to Cozumel because there is no algae on the west side of the island, and were able to swim and snorkel in the crystal clean ocean while we were there at least, although we had to spend money paying for 2 places at once. Had I known these well known facts (google), I would not have booked this property. It's somewhat false advertising. That being said, the property was very nice, and the location was great for us as far as walking into town. The sheets were luxurious and it was nice having an extra bathroom, although there was very little water pressure in one of them. Do your homework on the Sargassum problem before considering a trip to this region. Catching the ferry from Playa del Carmen, we noticed the beaches in Playa had very little algae in comparison. Cozumel did not have any.

A Great Find!

After staying a week at Casa Frida, we were fortunate enough to extend another week. Here are my notes: LOCATION: - Easy 8-10 minute walk to the center of town. - Two beach clubs nearby for drinks, meals, or snacks. - Restaurants are about a 5-6 minute walk THE COMPLEX - Security seemed good - always felt safe - Pool is warm/cleaned frequently - Grounds are well maintained THE UNIT - Bright and airy decor - Very clean, well maintained - Kitchen is fully stocked with all pans, utensils, etc - Large fridge/freezer - Coffee maker with built-in filter - Gas range, microwave, and toaster - Paper towels, dishrags included - Drinking water provided (10-gallon jugs) - Air conditioning works well - Internet and cable TV work well - Water pressure in showers is good Overall the unit is great and we didn't have any negative comments. My only addition would be a toaster oven so you don't have to heat up the big one when you need to bake small batches of cookies, rolls, etc. Would we stay at Casa Frida again? Absolutely!

Perfect Getaway

We visit Puerto Morelos every year for an extended period, 2-4 weeks. The property where we usually stay was sold so we needed to find another "home". After a long search, we found Casa Frida. It ticked all of our boxes and could not be happier with our "find". The location is an easy walk into town via either the road or beach or it's a 30 peso ($1.50) taxi ride to the town square. The unit has everything you need in order to live like a local. The kitchen is fulled equiped with pots, pans, dishes, etc. There are even Tupperware-style containers for leftovers. The internet is fast enough to do Zoom meetings and stream multimedia. During our visit, the televison had Netflicks, Amazon and an array of live channels (HGTV, Discovery, Food Network, etc). The beach and pool have plenty of loungers and palapas. The view from this third-floor unit is stunning, great for watching the sunrise or having dinner on the balcony at sunset. We are already planning our return stay to this property.

Awesome

My husband and I stayed at this lovely property during our for one week during Spring/Easter break. the property was as described. Loved just sitting on the balcony enjoying coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise. The beach in this area is not crowded at all even during the holiday weekend, we never had to compete for shade from a palapa. I just love this little town, so chill. We rented bikes from the rental/management office, and Jin and Mariela were very accommodating and responded to all our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great vacation.
