”The power went out twice which made it hard to sleep because the place doesn’t have generators and the AC unit wasn’t working. There was a snake outside our room. The dogs barked too much. When we reached out to the host they didn’t have a solution to the problem. They didn’t provide flashlight or water. The water was running very low and many who stayed ended ip checking out. ”

”The apartment was wonderful and the location was ideal for walking to nearby restaurants, shopping, and sites to visit. The only thing I would caution people who have difficulty climbing stairs - this might not be the best place for you - there are stairs to get to the apartment and another flight inside the apartment to get to the 2nd bedroom. We loved the space and the balcony overlooking the street - it is a very good place to stay in old San Juan”

”very close to beach. beach chairs and towels were provided, which was nice. host provided checkin details an hour after checkin time. mirror behind bed was not cleaned well, but the rest of the room was very clean. Shower head barely worked. the room had a coffee pot and coffee, but no filters. Half a roll of toilet paper was provided for a 3-night stay. If you're on foot, you cant exit the property without a key. You can hear the airport but you get used to it.”

”Apartment was very clean and authentic to the area. Me and my husband loved it. The backyard tub was perfect after a day at the beach to come and relax and hang out. Close to the beach and food. The apartment has everything you need. Loved it.”

”The spot itself was not bad, close access to everything and the room was well advertised. Communication with the staff was not the best. Language barrier was not an issue, they just wouldn’t respond to requests/needs.”

”The dryer didn’t work. The room was dry but we had to keep the AC on, which was directly above the bed and made it difficult to sleep. The pool is kind of gross. ”

”This place is a gem! Off the beaten path, but close to everything. Views are lovely and the shared decks are well maintained and furnished. Studio had everything you need (2 middle aged adults and an 19yo nephew) and kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. Beds are VERY comfy. We would absolutely return and would want to extend our stay next time around! ”
