My husband and I have owned a condo around the corner from casa Bahía Linda. The manager kindly let us see the villa before all our guests 3 adult daughters, spouses and 6 children arrived so I could see what I needed to bring in before they all (12) arrived. I brought over a drip coffee maker, laundry detergent,salt and pepper fixed the dryer.The bedrooms were very nice . I was surprised that the water was not filtered for drinking. The manager kindly left 2 large bottles but they had to pay for a few more.

My favorite thing about this house was the view. You get a panoramic view of the coast. It’s absolutely breathtaking. The sound of the waves and birds is so relaxing. A few little cute geckos hang around the house, we loved that.Very nice stalked kitchen.Rooms are big and comfortable.The location is great because it’s a little out of the city, but not too far. We found using Uber was just a few dollars into Zona Romantica. If you walk down the street and to your left there’s a great beach. We swam, and the water was warm and calm. Great host! We communicated by text and he was very responsive. Directions for accessing the house were easy.We would definitely stay at this house again.

The house is completely bare of any cooking supplies. There isn’t even salt or pepper. The washing machine was broken and when asked about it, we were told it wasn’t listed on the listing. We had a group of people staying there for 7 days, not having a washing machine was an annoyance. The original listing had a “chef service” listed under the “dinning” section. When asked about it, they asked for a screenshot of it then went on the site and deleted it from the listing. We were expecting prepared meals for dinner, so not having that and not having any cooking supplies was another big inconvenience. The power went out a few times and was shut off for half a day so it could be fixed. The pool was nice for the first two days, then stopped working for the rest of the trip. The house manager was nice and attentive, but the owners were unwilling to compensate us for all of the inconveniences.

There was pros and cons to our stay. It did rain at least 2 of our 4 day stay so some of the things we encountered were a problem due to that.Pro:- Enough space for everyone - Pool privacy - ACs worked in every room- Fridge was spacious - Walking to beach was nice. A little extra hike will get you to the Playa De Los Muertos, which was more convenient than driving and parking, particularly when wet - The view and sounds of the ocean - Plenty of birds and iguanas from morning to night was cuteCon:- Floors, beds and towels were not the cleanest leading me to believe place had been vacant for a while.- There was a smell in the rooms reminiscent of mold, insecticide and/or something musty, particularly strong in the bunk bed room- No laundry facilities, which we could've used since we traveled with a baby- If you walk down to the beach, there's no good way to wash off the sand. We used a water hose in the garage to prevent sand from getting in pool/inside the house - Pool towels were musty - Hot tub didn't work- We weren't able to get any hot water for showers. More problem on the rainy days and for the baby.- Mystery powder was on furniture and bed of room upstairs- Insect nest right outside of room- Floors/stairs slippery when wetThings to consider that are out of control of host - Parking is only on street, which is very steep and can be challenging to walk or turn around in- Neighborhood has occasional sulfur/sewage smell

Warm fun family reunion getaway

Casa Bahía Linda is a great place to enjoy the sunsets, nice views, can swim in a good size pool, hear the waves at night. Getting down or up the Casa can be challenging but close walk to the beach and minutes walking to town. Alma Rosa (from Kiyoba) answer all questions quick and Gerardo (the host) was answering to questions within minutes and giving us good suggestions. We will be planning our next stay in Casa Bahía Linda again!.

Great location, previous reviews are accurate

Was able to stay here with some friends for a weekend getaway. Great location with a beautiful view of the water. Close to a secluded beach as well!Previous reviews were accurate in that there was a strong sewage smell that went in and out throughout the day. Unfortunately where was some black mold located in one of the bathrooms on the top floor which is why our rating is lower. House could also use some updates to the interior but the photos are pretty accurate.

Great location but was there was two major disappointments: 1. the pool was not heated, which we ended up not using at all because it was so cold and 2. there was a terrible sewage smell throughout the entire property. It was pretty intolerable at first but it got better as we aired out all of the rooms and restrooms. Otherwise, Gerardo was attentive and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Family time!

Our family stay on the property met our needs in terms of capacity. Not all rooms rated equally well. Location,location,location…. Close to the beach, quiet and private and only a 15 minute walk on the beach away from restaurants,etc. However, people with mobility issues should find other methods of transportation to get around. Very attentive and accommodating hosts. We had the family vacation of a lifetime.

This spot is in a great location, just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city. I will say, the home has been used and overall needs a few minor updates here and there, but for the most post is reasonably priced considering that.

Long Weekend in Paradise

We had a great long weekend at Casa Bahia Linda with friends. 11 in total and we were quite comfortable. Our host arranged a chef to cook us dinner on Saturday night, which was a real treat! The location was great. We could walk to 2 different beaches, and it was very easy to catch an Uber or Taxi into Zona Romantica and other parts of PV.

Great location and beautiful home!

Had a great time here - 10 minute walk from the Zona Romantica downtown area. Little trick we didn't learn until near the end of the trip if you go down the drive way you can actually access the downtown area via the water/beach. Less of a scary walk on the side of the road.

Beautiful Bay House

Clean, old world charm, felt like a home. Host was friendly and very accommodating of our requests. View was spectacular! Close to beaches and shopping. Could see late night fireworks from the deck. Would love to return to this home!

Great house in a great location

The location isn’t as to old town (Zona romantica) as smaller rentals but as far as houses of this size goes, this is one of the closest and most convenient of the similar sized rentals in the area. It’s about .6mi/8min walk to Los Muertos Beach/old town and the restaurants, bars, shops and a nearby grocery store. You can also take a 4 min ride to the same areas, 8-10 minutes to downtown. There’s also a couple of smaller (but rockier) beaches near the house if you want to go dip in the water in the morning without having to walk or taxi to Los Muertos beach. It’s literally a 1-2 min walk (although a step hill down and up for the elderly/disabled). The house itself is beautiful. Plenty of bathrooms. Pool next to the living room is amazing. There is no jacuzzi (or at least doesn’t function as one) so that was a disappointment but the host provided a heated pool upgrade for a cost. The concierge services provided by the host were also very helpful. Host was easy to communicate with and was responding via text. We came for a bachelor party but I definitely want to bring my family back and stay at this property.

Amazing views, living space and location; a few drawbacks

This house was a pretty great stay for 10 friends. The views are incredible, and the layout was great for indoor/outdoor living on the main level. We spent the majority of the time outside on the main deck/patio. There were a few issues with the home (sewage smell in 1 bathroom/bedroom, leaking sink, running toilet, coffee machine didn't work, couldn't get oven pilot light lit, and the jacuzzi was unable to be heated therefore pool and jacuzzi were both freezing). The location was about a 20 minute walk to town along the main road, and there are beaches just down the street from the house that are lovely. Overall a good stay if you adjust your expectations for a house with some issues.

Great spot to stay

The house was great! Gerardo was quick with whatever we needed. Only issue was the sewer-like smell coming from the drains. (Not sure that could be helped) and the pool/hot tub heater was broken. We couldn't use the pool/hot tub at all during the stay because it was too cold and was told the heater was broken. We would have gladly paid extra but we were told it wasn't possible. Other than that, the house is great, close to the beach (short walk down the trail by the beach) lots of Ubers available for VERY CHEAP. Great place to stay!

Unfortunate that host was hospitalized on our arrival so made for a difficult check-in. When available host was great and did what he could to make our stay enjoyable. Again it was out of his control that the heater was broke for the pool and was a big disappointment when water was too cold to get in. It was a big reason why I booked this place. The location was close to the ocean but difficult terrain to take the toddlers for a swim. There was a serious sewer smell throughout the villa and there was no getting rid of it, was worse outside so was a community problem. If pool and sewer were addressed we would certainly rent again and recommend this place to family and friends. The Johnston Family

Bachelorette dream stay

This place was absolutely amazing! Our property manager Gerardo made everything so easy. From helping us schedule cooks to make us dinner, grocery deliveries, massages at the house, transportation for our 12 person group to the airport. It was all super well done! The home itself is beautiful, plenty of space for large groups and well stocked. It’s a short 5 min walk down to the beach and only 15 min walk to town (Los muertos pier) where there are lots of restaurants and bars! I can’t wait to come back here, we had the best time. Felt safe and at home throughout our whole stay :)! Thank you!

The property was beautiful ! The view was incredible and the location was perfect. The only complaints we have was there not being any towels and wash cloths or sheets, I thought for the amount of money per night those things should have been provided especially for 15 people and a 10 night stay. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and super friendly and willing to help. There was also a strong sewage smell throughout the whole stay, some of the room unbearable at times. All in all of those few things were fixed we would def rent again .

Casa Linda!

We loved staying at this house at Puerto Vallarta. It was Family Friendly and super clean. Gerardo was our host and communication was flawless. Easy and fast. Very close to the beach and shopping centers and the views were amazing! Million Dollar view to the pacific.
