An absolute gem. The entire property has been designed with thoughtful intention and a good eye for design. The rooms are comfortable and stay fairly cool even without the AC blasting (it was low 80s during our stay). Everything was spotless and clean. Liz the host is incredibly responsive and friendly. There are multiple units and it was a joy saying hi to our neighbors in the common pool area and decks. The view from the balconies and deck are incredible. We watched the sunset every evening. In the early mornings a variety of colorful birds (including some hummingbirds) would flit about the gardens. The occasional gecko might say hi to you too. We were a little concerned about the potential noise from being near the boardwalk but can happily say it was never a problem. When outside you might hear a party bus a few blocks away or the regular city noises. Inside is very quiet and peaceful. The nearby shops and cafe were great. About the only drawback is that Argentina Street is quite a hill and there are quite a few steps to get to the property. Completely worth it but worth considering if you have any impairments. The only other negative might be a yappy dog from a neighbor but what can you do?If you can’t tell we highly recommend it.
