Great Location

Fun condo with great views. Very comfortable and clean. On-premise staff was very helpful. My quads were in much better shape after the week and the stairs (we counted 156), but Ubers were readily available. Highly recommended.

Lovely Condo

We wished we could have stayed longer! Everything was exactly as described in listing no unexpected surprises. We knew about the road ( not that noisy) and the roof top night club, it’s to the side of the building not directly in front and they didn’t have music every night, and the steepness (we took a taxi or Uber up to the condo if we were tired) read the reviews. A lovely place and the owner James was so nice and helpful

Beautiful condo with great view!

This condo is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. The views are spectacular. Karina keeps it sparkling clean 6 days a week and makes sure you have all the towels you need! Oswaldo takes care of any maintenance issues and keeping the property looking beautiful. He is very helpful! Karina and Oswaldo, thank you so much for taking care of us! Jim, thank you for being a great, caring host and providing so much helpful info before we got there. All of you are the best!

Perfect Getaway!

This was our first visit to PV and it was incredible. First of all, James was above and beyond when it came to helping us out. We had some odd hiccups when traveling in Mexico. I appreciated James helping us out and staying in contact while we adapted to the circumstances. It relieved a tremendous amount of stress. The location was perfect for walking the neighborhood, going to the beach, connecting to the Malecon, or catching ubers. The local restaurants are amazing. The small store at the bottom of the hill had fresh made beans, rice, and salsas that we stocked up on regularly. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. The pool was a nice break after hot days. We loved everything about it and would stay her again without hesitation. Just a few notes: PV has small sidewalks, cobblestone streets, hills, and large curbs. This place is located at the top of a hill that requires navigating down steps regularly. We got our workout in everyday and did not have much of a problem, but could be an issue for someone who has more mobility problems. Also, the area is very quiet and charming. However, there is a rooftop bar across the way that has nightly performances. They start at 9 and finish at 11. The good news is that I didn't mind the sets and they did shut down promptly at 11, but if you are someone who goes to sleep early-- bring earplugs. Finally, there is no washing machine or dryer. There are laundry services nearby. We have a packable laundry "machine" bag that allows us to quickly hand wash loads of clothes and hang to dry. We did that for 10 days and it was fine for us. Otherwise, perfect for an adventurous/active couple looking for a nice place as a base camp to explore PV. We also highly recommend the PV eats taco tour. Thank you again to our incredible host James!!

Nice place

The condo was nice. Beautiful view on the bay. Good and safe location but there are 71 steps to climb each time we came back to the condo. Staff was pleasant. The building is very near from route 200. Noisy traffic day and night.

James, Thanks for being a part of my stay in PV unforgettable. It was a slice of paradise I will never forget. Not only was the location perfect. But the staff and neighbours were incredibly welcoming, I came for almost a month to ork remotely and enjoy the warmth while my hometown froze. The trip was everything I could ask for and more. Perfect location. Close to everything you'd want. Thank you for everything. I will be back! Kris

Like a second home!

Exceptionally tastefully decorated and fully equipped condo with unobstructed view to the bay. Everything corresponds exactly to the description on VRBO. What is particularly noteworthy: James, the caring and attentive host, and his super friendly and dedicated staff on site, especially the maintenance and the housekeeping.

We had a great stay.

Fantastic view and comfortable place to hang out. Owner is easy to communicate with. Easy to get to via taxi or uber from the airport or marina. Great location for walking to everything you need, stores, restaurants, laundry and ATMs. Do be prepared to do the steps. We do daily hikes on hills in the woods at home so it wasn't so bad for us (plus we didn't gain any weight!) It is true that there is loud music coming from the two places nearby but the view made it worth it. Music pretty much stops right at 11 pm. We closed doors at bedtime until we woke up to quiet so we can enjoy the sound of the ocean below and the fresh air. Apparently much of Zona Romantica can be noisy at night so you may want to bring ear plugs if that's a big issue to you. It wasn't a total deal breaker for us. We would recommend staying here.

Lovely Condo in a Small Building with a Beautiful View

This was my first stay at a VRBO, James the owner was amazing, he sent us the key in advance, which I forgot to bring! In transit, James jumped on arrangements to get on site staff to let us in. After a long day of travel, staff opened the doors to the most beautiful view of the bay, from the living room and bedroom. He also sent us in advance a very detailed journal with the names of staff, where to buy supplies and places to eat, including the sweet market walking distance from the condo with the best guacamole! The condo is very nicely furnished, and the kitchen has everything you could need to make a lovely meal to enjoy on the deck with the view. Seeing the little boats on the bay each morning was so great and the fireworks most nights was special. The location is central to all the restaurants, shops and the beach - fantastic! Love this place and hope to come back soon.

Can I just live here forever? Amazing experience!

No wonder this place has perfect 5-star reviews; it truly is a 5-star experience. My partner and I stayed here for a whole month just to live somewhere and work remotely elsewhere. So it was super important to be in a place that was comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. Jim was super communicative well before our trip and the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The place had everything we needed; a full functioning kitchen with plenty of cookware, high speed WiFi (it was over 100 mbps SO PLENTY), and a fully functioning bathroom. The location was fantastic too; close enough to all the activity but far enough that it was quiet and local. The best part were the staff-David, Karina, and Oswaldo; just such friendly and helpful faces you get to see every day and they made our stay that much more memorable. I'd come back here without a doubt.

Location Location Location.

My husband and I visited Puerto Vallarta for New Years this year and loved PV so much we wanted to go back for PV Gay Pride. We knew this time we wanted to stay in the heart of the Zona Romantica where the majority of gay bars, restaurants, and special events take place. James’s place was perfectly located. The condo was a five minute walk to the gay beach clubs and a five minute walk to the heart of the Zona Romantica, which made the condo far enough away from the boom boom boom of the early morning hours, but close enough to never miss a beat. The condo is on the third floor and has amazing views of the ocean from its living room and master bedroom terraces. I spent most mornings out on the bedroom terrace, waking up with morning coffee, texting with envious friends back home, and watching the fishing boats and tourist yachts come and go along the beachfront. Not a bad way to start the day. The condo has all the necessities: comfortable beds, great WiFi, air conditioning, and a nice basic kitchen, fully furnished. The staff was always a pleasure to talk to and promptly responded to any requests. The condo is well maintained and kept very clean. We only checked in with James a couple of times during our stay and he was always quick to respond. We always felt confident if we had any issues (we didn’t), James would take care of everything. Staying at James’s place really made the crazy fun vacation complete. My husband and I plan to visit PV a lot in the future, and we will always stay at James’s place.

Gorgeous sunset view

Friendly staff, clean comfortable space. Unfortunately, I had my wallet stolen on day one and my friend had her iPhone stolen two days later. Luckily there’s a safe in the condo and we had our passports secure. There was loud music at night. The location is close to many restaurants, clubs, bars and shops. Very LBGQ environment. The condo was great. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed our evenings in the condo watching the sunset.

This was probably the best condo I have ever stayed in . The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Just a short walk to the beach with the beach clubs. Everything was perfect. Beautifully decorated. Cleaning every day. Nice pool.

Perfect Accommodation! I highly recommend it!

The owner and manager are VERY helpful. The location is very near the beach at Blue Chairs, the view from the condo is spectacular, the Malecon is an easy walk away! Walking to breakfast, lunch and dinner is a breeze or you can cook in the well-equipped kitchen! Housekeeping kept the space spotless and they seemed to only be there when we were gone. I was happy to connect my Spotify to the smart TV and enjoy my favorite music while watching the sunset on the ocean. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Love it!

Jim was an excellent host and I love the property. I especially love the charm of the building and the view! The view of the bay is magnificent and I have missed it each day since. The floor plan is very comfortable. It is very convenient to the beach and all the nearby restaurants and shops in lower Amapas as well as the rest of the Romantic Zone. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful Views, Short walk to the beach and downtown

This property displayed beautiful views of PV and a short walk to the beach and downtown. Everything you possibly need is within walking distance. Jim (owner) David (prop mgt) were both very tentative and willing to help however they could. My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property for two weeks.

Great location

Owner was very good with communications - property manager quick to respond - close hike to the beach - beautiful ocean view from the patio - location close to the activities we enjoyed - hiking to waterfalls, swimming with dolphins in the wild- took in an act2 show which was really good!
