Good view lower service
Beautiful resort. Invested to the view. Food is average in all restaurants except French , Hoya 19 and on adult side one; better bar lounges on palace side. Bad organized all restaurants . Missing a lot of information for stay . Not so nice beach and missing umbrellas from the beach . Bars far alway from the beach . Flamingo on golf side ! Unfortunately the Premium level in accordance higher price do not get so much as could be. No alcohol to the rooms , no feeling any special:(

Liked - We have stayed at the property before and was aware of the surroundings. Didn't like - Would have liked to have known what VIP was? Noise - lots and lots of young kids being very loud with voices and music ZERO / No American music played in Disco Room refrigerator did not work. Reported it and still wasn't replaced or repaired.

La propiedad esta en buenas condiciones , el área es bonita y acogedora . Pero el servicio y la cómida no fue lo mejor . El tener que rogar para que me dieran agua embotellada fue incómodo . Solo en el restaurante Santa Fe ( carnes ) fue donde el servicio y la comida nos gusto . Además de César en la barra de la playa . En el check in se formó unas filas gigantes .

Empleados muy atentos. Condición del hotel? Terrible. No había A/C en ninguno de los restaurantes,el calor horrible y muy pobre en los dormitorios. Neveras de los dormitorios no funcionaba. Olor desagradable en areas comunes,como el lobby el sport bar.

The resort was relatively large compared to some other resorts I’ve stayed in Punta Cana in the past. The food and restaurant options was just average, I’ve had much better for the ala carte restaurants. The room was slightly older even though it’s well maintained and cleaned. The beach was very nice, quite shallow and clean water with some sea kelp on the sea floor about 10 metres away from the shore. For the price point, I think it was worth it.

I liked there was several stores to shop and personal by the pool were greaty favorite restaurants was Mexico lindo and las Brisa’s the servers were wonderful the coral staff needs improvement and just wished there was food by the pool area instead of heading out towards the buffet or sports bar , if they could have fries , burgers , wings and nachos by the bar just snack also had a big group of us 29 guest I wish it was easier to book restaurants instead of having to walk to guest services before our stay but honestly the resort was beautiful and clean and had a great time !

The Barcelo Bavaro Palace is in a gated community with the convention center and adults only resort. It conveniently has a shopping center inside and a variety of activities. However, All Inclusive does not apply to room service. The resort also doesn’t accept cash as type of payment and only in USD. Overall, it was a nice experience altogether.

Beautiful resort, beautiful beach, lots of shopping & great drinks. Food is not great, restaurants that require reservations taste absolutely Terrible. The buffet is the only place where we always found something to eat. Housekeeping stole my hairspray, shampoo & redbulls even though they were tipped. They cleaned the room very well but made it obvious they were stealing so we had to put everything away and put locks on all our important expensive stuff. The only thing I enjoyed about this place was the shopping, Beach, Drinks & pool. I would never go back though & I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Soy cliente de este hotel mucho tiempo y lo he visitado en varias ocasiones, pero ahora estuve 4 días y la verdad que me decepcionó, la comida del Buffet es lo más malo que he visto en todo los hoteles en Punta Cana, no entiendo que no tienen variedad y la comida muy mal elaborada, me acerqué a muchos trabajadores para comentarles y no supieron que decir, es una lastima considerando que es un hotel emblemático en este polo turístico, no creo que los directivos no se den cuenta de todo esto, es una falta de respeto al huésped gracias

The location is superb, the rooms are clean, the food is good, the employees are kind, but there are some things that should be fixed. I think smoking is a big problem. People smoke everywhere, even in the pool, often close to children. Another problem that I wrote about in an earlier vacation and that I was promised would be solved, but it was not, is the problem of restaurant reservations. I was only offered very late reservations at the better restaurants and I wanted to test if they really are that busy or if the employees prefer to give reservations at better times to those who tip them. In the evening when I was told that I cannot get a reservation at the Italian restaurant before 10.30pm, I went at 7pm, tipped the girl at the entrance $10 and got my table immediately. the biggest surprise came when I noticed that during the whole time I was in the restaurant, half of the tables were empty. Another problem that should be fixed would be the problem of speaking English. at 2 of the restaurants I didn't even find a person who spoke English. Although I had VIP, when I arrived at the resort the people at the reception tried to lie to me, telling me that VIP actually means nothing. I wasted at least 2 hours arguing and calling EXPEDIA to solve the problem, and it was only thanks to Mr. Santos that it was solved. Another disturbing problem was the problem with the water from the neighbors in the balcony reaching my balcony. they didn't fix it in a week.

The property itself was clean and well-maintained. The swimming pools and beach were very lovely too. My only complaint was the food quality of all the restaurants and buffets. The food was not hot and seems to have been sitting there for a long time. There was also not much variety in the buffets from day to day. The staff all around the resort were attentive and friendly. But there was a language barrier.
