I would say 8/10
Resort itself is very nice, renovated recently. Beach is excellent. Attitude of most of the staff is poor, they would need a training in basic customer service skills, especially in the restaurants. Don’t book a la carte restaurants, food quality was very poor, in some places it was impossible to even eat the food served for you. Everything has been prepared in advance and it has been standing on the plate for a very long time. Buffet food was okay, every day super fresh fruits especially. Spa was excellent but pricey. If you want a good spot from the beach, go to reserve the bed early as so does everyone else and otherwise you’ll be left without. The main pool is super loud and noisy, relax pool is supposed to be more calm but everyday it was also full of kids screaming. Even there is a kids waterpark nearby. Wish that even this pool could have been a place where to relax in peace. The nature trail was amazing with lots of turtles and different birds! Booked a late check out (3pm) and everything was sorted in the reception, however got 6 phone calls from the reception and visit of 3 different staff members knocking the door asking us to check out. Very disturbing and EXTREMELY poor communication between the staff.

Do not go to this hotel.
Best part of the hotel is the small mangrove forest inside the hotel area. Cleaning staff stole all our cash money on forth day, even we had hidden the cash very well on two different locations. There is a safe in the room, it juat happens to be hidden behind a painting and reception didnt tell us about it. Staff in general doesn't speak english, and they are also a bit rude, not all but many are. Food is ok, its not good, but not bad. In two weeks you get really bored with the selection. Cleaning of the rooms is random, during 15 days we got maybe 7-8 cleanings and none of them were as thorough as the inspection of our personal belongings when looking for our money... Level of cleaning is 2⭐️ level of cleaning staff ability to find your valuables is 5⭐️ Also do not trust the safe, we learned that there has also been cases when customers have lost there valuables from the safe. Hotel management completely washed their hands from responsibility and after they "investigated" the case the guest service accused us of lying since only the cleaner had been in our room and the cleaner said that she had not taken the money... so management approves the staffs stealing! Gym in the hotel has old chinese made copy of life fitness equipments and they are all crap, so are the bars and weight plates. Dumbbells are ok. Beach is good in this hotel. We will never go back to this hotel. And we travel alot, so this opinion is based on wide experience of hotels/resorts around the world.

Not to the international level of 5 stars. Very limited entertainment provided. The location of the hotel is in a very sketchy place. Too many do and don't. Our first two night was horrible, the AC didnt work. Went to lobby and they said they will tech bit his never happen. Had to go again to the lobby and discuss with them just to change my room. Hotel is has a premium areas which as normal customer you cannot access which is unfair to others customers. Premium are closed to the beach while other tou have to walk a lot as the property is huge. Limited choice of food. Difficulty to communicate as most staff speak only spanish. The sea and beach is great though. Spent a nice time but too many red flags and frustration especially for the price we paid.

It was alright. Not too fancy. Food wasn’t great but just merely edible. To say the least, I wasn’t looking forward to my meals from our 2nd day. The staff was alright but the bartenders were experts at ignoring and giving a blind eye and deaf ear to you even after tipping them handsomly.

Property is nice but extremly huge. Over 1000 rooms. Well kept grounds. But pools leave a bad taste dirty and not clean. Many choices to eat if you can land a reservationfirst. The main buffet restaurant is a madhouse trying to get to food with so many people. This is a family rrsort so kids were everywere. Big word of advise. Stay clear of the royal holiday vacation club people tying to lite you inyo their club. They are good at their dales pitch. And want $30,000 for the program that last 25 years

Glad we are leaving today. We literally had to avoid staff from harrassing us to buy into their "presentation" to receive special spa services. They literally will hunt you down, to the point of stalking. Lack of communication and difficult language barrier so you never get what you ask for (food, drinks, etc...) its like theyve never heard of anything before. Not much going on, very boring. And food was very blan. Nothing unique or interesting. We ate nachos, burgers, rice and coffee. The carmel cappuccino is good. Staff at reception could be a little nicer. On to the next one. But wont stay here again, or recommend.

Then under any circumstance our guests should be forced to attempt meetings or to buy anything if the client does not want to and based on another guests comment a simple “No, Thanks” is always enough to be bothered but if they continue bothering you, it is important to report it to our guest service department, in order we can take action. It is always important to report every inconvenience you have during your stay, first of all because we have a very professional guest service department always willing to help. Then it is not the right channel to complaint as now you are at home and unfortunately now is too late to give you the necessary assistance. Every point expressed will be discussed with our department managers in order to take the necessary measures trying to continue to offer the best service and we appreciate that you bring your comments to our attention as we consider it as the best way to improve the quality of our service. Nos trataron tan bien que nos dolió despedirnos de quienes nos atendieron en La hispaniola buffet. Freddy, Suero, Eddie y otros mas que no recuerdo los nombres pero fueron muy atentos. La comida buena, los restaurantes excelentes, el servicio es excelente. NUNCA nos habian tratado tan bien en un hotel. Fuimos por primera vez el año pasado en mayo, este año volvimos y ya estamos en las de reservar para el próximo año.

No availability for specialty restaurants, very difficult try to book a appointment, you need to tip the hotel employees to find a restaurant. First day no glasses for the beer in the food trucks at the beach. First day in the bar no chicken tenders no gratinade potatos. 4 times had to call due to issues with the air condition in the room.

bar staff was amazing and so was the service at the 24/7 pub. wish some of the games upstairs in the pub worked, but overall great experience. buffet food is a hit or miss, but service is always great. wish the transportation came more often or often crowded.

Everything was beautiful except some of the staffs would give you attitude if you ask a question like if they were annoyed. I stood at the hard rock in Punta Cana 6 months ago and the workers there are super super friendly. But this place ahhh I wouldn’t say all the staffs are friendly. But we kept it moving it was a beautiful place I had a good time that’s all that matters.

This was my first time staying at an all inclusive hotel and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, my villa was spacious and beautiful, the property was so well kept .. the beach was stunning! My expectations were exceeded! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Its a large property but the team does an excellent job at keeping everything organized!

This hotel has great staff and service. The food is not the best, and the pool could be in better conditions. Overall it was a good experience, better food would’ve made it a 5 star.
