The most central location you could have in Newport - the bus garage was right next door which took us to all the tourist locations that I would recommend - the needles, shanklin beach, carisbrook castle and the garlic farm. The guesthouse also has an excellent Thai restaurant downstairs, great food, really delicious and great price. ”Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return.”

”The room was clean, with modern/quirky tech features. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing a place to store our luggage after the check out time. The hotel is in a good location for the Redjet passenger ferry and the high street with bars and restaurants. It is also located a few mins walk from the taxi rank and bus stop that has connections to Newport.”

”Fishbourne Inn on lähellä rantaa, kauniissa ympäristössä. Terassi on laaja ja merinäkymällä. Huoneet ovat kauniit ja aistikkaat. Ruoka ei mitenkään erikoista, tavallista englantilaista. Lähellä mm. Quarr Abbey, munkkiluostari teehuoneineen. Ehdottomasti sillä alueella kannattaa yöpyä tässä hotellissa.”
