”Exceptional. This hotel completely redefines what a five-star experience should be. It makes you rethink all the previous five-star review you've given simply because nothing went wrong. Hulbert house sets the standard, and few others deserve to be in the same category.
Staff are always keen to help and would put in a lot of nice touches. Particularly love how they would put a couple bottles of water in the car as they pull the car out for you. Also the 5pm canapé/wine were nice (great sav...

”The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and quality pillows. Breakfast, however, was a disappointment—I missed fresh vegetables and would have appreciated more than just butter to put on my bread. The breakfast area was crowded every morning, and the space felt quite cramped.
The food at the hotel restaurant was poor in quality and didn’t meet expectations.
Keep in mind that the hotel sits atop a small hill, which makes the walk from Queenstown’s town centre slightly uphill. ”
