”This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at this thatched house near Bury St.Edmunds and we found so much to do in the area that our week-long stay passed very quickly. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and the perfect garden, enjoying several meals at the outside table. An very unusual place that we were fascinated by was Grimes Graves, a Neolithic flint mine.”

”Lovely bay windowed room with garden views and enormous bathroom. We booked the upgraded room and the main difference to our friends standard room seemed to be the room location and the size of and facilities in the bathroom (we had twin washbasins, large bath, separate large shower, bidet, wc). The breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. No dinner facilities or bar, but close to lots of bars and restaurants in the town.”

”Just a few minor details that stopped it getting Excellent. Milk in fridge was off but quickly replaced when told. Had breakfast in room which was excellent, and on time but salt pot was empty. ”We had a lovely one night stay in the Warren room, it was very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom, two small notes, there is no accessible plug socket near the right hand side of the bed & the TV was not working while we were there but that wasn’t really a problem for us as we were out most of the time. The food was excellent and staff very friendly and attentive.”

”Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. ”
